The invention concerns a device in winding of a web. The device is composed of at least one loading and/or support unit ( ) in order to support the winding core and to load the roll. The loading and/or support unit ( ) comprises at least two rolls ( ), around which at least one belt ( ) has been fitted in the axial direction of the rolls ( ). The rolls ( ) in the loading and/or support unit ( ) have been coupled together by means of coupling members ( ) so that movements of the rolls ( ) in relation to one another are geometrically positively controlled.

Device in winding of a web

A method and device for winding a paper web in which the paper web is unwound from a paper reel, the end of the paper web is taken as a substantially full width from the reel and attached to a threading member which extends substantially over the entire length in the cross direction of the web. The threading member carries the end of the paper web through the winding machine so that the web is carried with a substantially uniform tension. The threading member is carried by draw fabrics placed in the cross direction in the area of the web.

Method and device for threading a paper web through a winding machine

A method for winding a web onto a spool at least partially supported on a support roll in which the web passes through a nip formed between the support roll and a roll formed by the web winding on the spool. The roll being formed is loaded and/or supported by at least one loading/supporting unit which is/are displaced during initial winding stages in a direction substantially in a plane passing through a central axis of the support roll and a central axis of the roll being formed. Thereafter, the loading/supporting unit(s) is/are displaced in a direction substantially along a path parallel to a circumference of the roll being formed, and during final winding stages, the loading/supporting unit(s) is positioned to support the roll being formed from a bottom region thereof.

Method in winding of a web

A method for winding a paper web in which the paper web is unwound from a paper reel and passed through a slitting station of a slitter-winder in which it is slit longitudinally into component webs by blades, and the component webs are further wound into component rolls. A portion of the ends of the slit component webs are cut off in a cutter device to provide them with predetermined measures, i.e., a predetermined initial length, before the component webs are passed into the winding stations. The winding device in winding of a paper web includes an unwind station and a slitter-winder which includes a slitting station, a cutter device, and the winding stations for component rolls. The cutter device of the slitter-winder includes an arrangement for cutting the component webs to provide the predetermined lengths therefor.
