A system for detecting a conflict of interest between entities includes a server and a database. The server selects a category to be evaluated for detecting whether or not two entities have a conflict of interest. A tree structure is created including the category and child and descendent categories of the category. The category and the child and descendent categories are hierarchically arranged as nodes of the tree structure. For the two entities, a conflict potential value is iteratively computed for each node based upon a previous conflict potential value of that node, previous conflict potential values of neighbouring nodes and distances between that node and neighbouring nodes. A conflict index value is computed for each node based upon the conflict potential value for that node for each entity. A conflict of interest between the entities is detected if the conflict index value of a node matches a predefined criteria.

Method and system for detecting conflict of interest

A method for training system to perform text-based search among plurality of documents. The method including receiving starting document, having at least one reference-identifier associated with the document; selecting reference-text from starting document; generating search-string by using a plurality of keywords using at least one first machine learning algorithm and at least one search-operator using at least one second machine learning algorithm; performing search among plurality of documents using search-string to fetch set of relevant documents; deriving reference-identifier distribution, corresponding to the at least one reference-identifier associated with document, for the set of relevant documents; and corelating at least one reference-identifier associated with starting document with reference-identifier distribution to determine performance-score for system. The steps of method are iteratively performed until performance-score exceeds a predetermined threshold, wherein at each iteration at least one of: different search-string is generated, different reference-text is obtained, different document is received.

A category to be evaluated is selected for detecting whether or not two given entities have a conflict of interest. A tree structure is created with the category and child and descendent categories of the category. The category and the child and descendent categories are hierarchically arranged as nodes of the tree structure. For the two given entities a conflict potential value is computed for each node of the tree structure. A conflict index value based upon the conflict potential value of that node for each of the two given entities is computed. A conflict of interest between the two given entities is detected if the conflict index value (c) of a node of the tree structure matches at least one predefined criterion.

The invention relates to the combining of mobile station properties. In addition the invention relates to the controlling in a desired manner of mobile station properties. The object of the invention is to give a mobile station a more stylish and youthful general appearance by enhancing the chances of the user to personalize his mobile station and by making the methods of communication between mobile stations more versatile. According to the invention it is possible to produce and present to the user various properties perceptible by the different senses, e.g. text, graphics, sound, vibration and/or illumination. These properties can be associated with each other to form effect entities. These effect entities can be transmitted to another mobile station during a conventional connection. In the receiving mobile station the effect entities are presented using different means of expression than the communication data proper.
