When a gateway, which provides one or more drivetrain domain specific knowledge services and include one or more simulation tools, receives a request relating to a drivetrain, the request containing identification information identifying one or more components of the drivetrain, and possibly one or more operation conditions, the gateway retrieves, based on the identification information, component information on one or more components of the drivetrain, the component information indicating for each component a component type. The gateway also retrieves, based on one or more component types in the component information and received one or more operation conditions, if any received, one or more values. Then the gateway uses at least the retrieved one or more values as input for a simulation; and outputs a simulation result for the drivetrain and/or for one or more of components the drivetrain.

An arrangement for monitoring an antifriction bearing of a rotating shaft of a rotating electric machine. The arrangement includes: one or more capacitor electrodes to measure a capacitive shaft displacement parameter; one or more of the following additional measurement sensors; a microphone to measure a bearing noise parameter, a voltage sensor to measure a bearing current parameter, and/or an optical pyrometer to measure a shaft heat parameter; and one or more processors configured to evaluate a condition of the antifriction bearing based on the capacitive shaft displacement parameter and one or more of the following: the bearing noise parameter, the bearing current parameter, and/or the shaft heat parameter.

Arrangement for monitoring antifriction bearing of rotating shaft of rotating electric machine

A method for manufacturing a multicomponent permanent magnet, and a multicomponent permanent magnet are proposed. The multicomponent permanent magnet has a first permanent magnet having a R-T-B-composition, wherein R is at least one selected from the group consisting of Y, Ce, La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu and Gd and T is one or more transition metal elements including Fe; and a second permanent magnet having a R-T-B-composition, wherein R is at least one selected from the group consisting of Y, Ce, La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu and Gd and T is one or more transition metal elements including Fe, the second magnet including at least one of a heavy rare earth element (HRE) and an increased amount of Ce and/or Co, the second magnet having different magnetic properties, in particular a higher coercivity, than the first magnet. The first magnet and the second magnet are connected mechanically, wherein the connection is electrically conductive with an adjusted electrical resistivity.

Multicomponent magnet assemblies for electrical machines

A method is disclosed for manufacturing the winding coil of an electrical machine from flat wire. The coil can include coil sides fitted to a groove of an electrical machine and end sections which are left outside the groove and form a coil end. Flat wire can be used for winding a spool in which the coil rounds are in the same winding plane and in which there are two parallel straight coil sides on opposite sides. After this, the parallel straight coil sides can be bent towards each other essentially to the right angle in comparison to the winding plane.

Method for manufacturing winding coil for an electrical machine

An exemplary stator disk of an electric motor stator includes a set of recesses. Each recess being configured to receive a cooling pipe. The stator disk includes one or more positioning elements for aligning the stator disk with another stator disk. The one or more positioning elements being positioned to the stator disk such that when the stator disk is set to a rotated position with respect to the other stator disk in order to align the recesses of the disks for receiving of cooling pipes, the positioning elements of the two disks become only partly aligned with each other.

Stator and assembly method

The invention relates to an arrangement for indicating a fault in an electrical machine having a stator and a rotor with an air gap between it and the stator. In order to detect impurities or similar objects entering the air gap, a means of supervision is arranged on the stator surface facing the rotor. The means of supervision is at least partially protruding from the stator surface, and the integrity of the included detection element, such as a copper wire, is established using a supervision circuit connected to the detection element.
