A spinal implant comprises at least one bone fastener including a proximal portion configured for fixation with a first anterior cortical surface of a vertebra and a distal portion configured for fixation with a second cortical surface of the vertebra. The proximal portion is engageable with a surgical driver having a surgical navigation component that generates data for display of an image representing position of the spinal implant relative to the vertebra. The spinal implant can be employed with cervical, thoracic, lumbar and/or sacral regions of a spine. Systems, surgical instruments and methods are disclosed.

A sacro-iliac implant includes a body having a proximal portion and a distal tip. The proximal portion includes an inner surface and a uniform diameter. The inner surface includes a first mating surface engageable with a first instrument surface and a second mating surface engageable with a second instrument surface. The present application is directed to a device for connecting an elongated member within a patient. The device includes a body with a receiving section to receive the elongated member, and an engagement section to engage a support structure, such as a vertebral member. The receiving section is sized to receive the elongated member in a first orientation. The process of securing the elongated member within the receiving section causes the device to pivot about the elongated member to a second orientation. This pivoting motion causes the engagement section to more securely attach to the support structure.
