A foldable enclosure apparatus, for a child, including an upper assembly forming an upper portion of an enclosure, and a base assembly connected to the upper assembly and forming a lower portion of the enclosure that supports a base pad. The upper assembly and base assembly are coupled by a side structure of posts, and the upper assembly, base assembly, and side structure are configured so that the foldable enclosure apparatus folds and unfolds effecting closing and opening of the foldable enclosure apparatus between closed and open positions. A flexible frame bassinet is included in the upper portion and dependent from the upper assembly. A changing platform, separate and distinct from the bassinet, is connected to the upper assembly. The changing platform is pivotally mounted to the upper assembly with mounts separate and distinct from mounting of the bassinet, the mounts include a hinged coupling and snap on clamps.

Foldable child enclosure

A child enclosure including a hub member including a crank link, a substantially four bar articulated link operably connected to the crank link, a push rod connected to the substantially four bar articulated link so that linear movement of the crank link effects, through the substantially four bar articulated link, a linear driving motion of the push rod, and a slide wedge coupled to the push rod, the slide wedge includes a slider and a pivot surface biasing the slider transverse to the linear driving motion of the push rod, where the linear driving motion of the push rod extends and retracts the slider.

An infant supporting chair including a frame, a seat movably supported on the frame, a unitary tray and a cooperative guidance and latching system. The cooperative guidance and latching system being configured to magnetically pull the unitary tray toward at least one latching position when the unitary tray is in range of the at least one latching position relative to the seat, releasably secure the unitary tray to the seat when the unitary tray is engaged to the at least one latching position, and slidably position the unitary tray relative to the seat when the unitary tray is partially disengaged from the at least one latching position.

Reclining high chair

A foldable play yard apparatus is provided. The play yard includes a frame having a plurality of upright posts. The posts have a top, a bottom, and a clamp connected to at least one longitudinal side of the post. The play yard further includes a flexible enclosure having a plurality of edges inserted in the clamps to form walls between the upright posts. The clamp includes: a housing having an opening for receiving the edge of the enclosure and defining an interior channel within the housing; a flag piece, which is positioned in the interior channel of the housing, connected to the edge of the enclosure; and a locking piece positioned across the interior channel from the flag piece. A frictional engagement between the locking piece and the flag piece maintains the flag piece and the edge connected thereto within the interior channel.

Foldable play yard apparatus including a clamp and a method of attaching a flexible sheet to the clamp

A foldable structure includes: an upper assembly forming an upper portion of the structure; a base assembly forming a lower portion of the structure; a centrally-located hub assembly operatively connected to the base assembly; and a post extending from each corner of the upper assembly to a corner of the base assembly. The upper assembly includes a plurality of arm assemblies. At least one latching mechanism is provided at each corner of the upper assembly extending from an upper portion of at least one of the posts to a portion of at least one of the arm assemblies.

A foldable structure includes: an upper assembly forming an upper portion of the structure; a base assembly forming a lower portion of the structure; a centrally-located hub assembly operatively connected to the base assembly; and a post extending from each corner of the upper assembly to a corner of the base assembly. At least one rotatable wheel assembly is provided at each corner of the lower portion of the structure extending from the structure to engage a surface. Each wheel assembly includes at least one support surface adapted for supporting and guiding the wheel on a surface and at least one groove provided on opposing sides of the support surface.

Wheel assembly for a foldable child enclosure

A corner assembly for a foldable child enclosure includes: a corner cover attached to a side post of the foldable child enclosure; a first rail cover mating with a first opening in the corner cover and attached to a first upper arm of the foldable child enclosure; and a second rail cover mating with a second opening in the corner cover and attached to a second upper arm of the foldable child enclosure. The first rail cover and the second rail cover move relative to the corner cover as the foldable child enclosure is moved from a folded position to an open position.
