A hydrogen circulation system for fuel cell includes a hydrogen supply pipeline, a return pipeline, a buffer tank, an ejector, a differential pressure valve, a solenoid valve, and a controller. The return pipeline connects a hydrogen outlet of a fuel cell stack and the hydrogen supply pipeline. The buffer tank is installed at the return pipeline. The ejector is installed at the hydrogen supply pipeline for connecting the buffer tank. The differential pressure valve is between a hydrogen source and the ejector for adjusting a pressure in the hydrogen supply pipeline based on a pressure difference between an anode inlet and a cathode inlet of the fuel cell stack. The solenoid valve is installed at the return pipeline between the buffer tank and the hydrogen outlet. According to an output voltage or a load of the fuel cell stack, a switch of the solenoid valve is controlled by the controller.

Hydrogen circulation system for fuel cell

A modular apparatus of fuel cell system includes a start burner, a reformer, an after-burner, and a heat exchanger. The start burner, the reformer, the after-burner, and the heat exchanger are disposed in a chamber. The start burner is surrounded by the reformer, and the after-burner is disposed on the start burner and surrounds the reformer. The heat exchanger surrounds the after-burner and the reformer.

Modular apparatus of fuel cell system

An external gas humidifier for fuel cell transfers recycled high-temperature waste heat produced by the fuel cell to a reactant gas, such as hydrogen or air, which is guided into the external gas humidifier. The heated reactant gas is treated in the external gas humidifier to effectively increase the moisture content of the reactant gas within a shortened time. When the humidified reactant gas enters into the fuel cell, it enables a polymeric membrane in the fuel cell to be well humidified to thereby enhance the power generation efficiency and service life of the fuel cell.

External gas humidifier for fuel cell

A fuel cell voltage measurement device includes a main beam provided at two sides with a transverse slot each for slidably receiving a plurality of slides therein, and a plurality of retractable probe assemblies separately mounted on the slides to move along with the slides. Therefore, the retractable probe assemblies are applicable to contact with fuel cell bipolar plates having different heights and/or thicknesses, making the voltage measurement device highly practical for use. A voltage signal collecting unit is provided on a top of the main beam for directly collecting the measured voltage signals to obtain a voltage state of the fuel cell.

Fuel cell voltage measurement device

A humidifier for fuel cells includes a housing with a heat-exchange plate formed therein, the plate defining first and second gas passages having gas inlets and outlets, respectively; a plurality of apertures formed on the plate; and a plurality of reservoirs fixed under the apertures and filled with a water absorbable and permeable stuffing material for trapping and storing water. The water permeable stuffing material may be disposed in the first gas passage. Cool, dry oxygen/air is channeled to the first gas passage and conveyed to an oxygen/air inlet of the fuel cell, and high-temperature, high-moisture exhaust gas discharged from the fuel cell is introduced to the second gas passage, such that water and heat of the exhaust gas in the second gas passage are recycled by the heat-exchange plate and conveyed to the first gas passage, thereby achieving the humidification effect and improving electricity-generating efficiency of the fuel cell.

Humidifier

A burner having a primary flame zone and a secondary flame zone. The throat of the quarl in the center of the primary flame zone is provided with a gas nozzle supported by a swirl element. The orifices of the nozzle are radially and obliquely distributed so that the gas introduced via the frustoconical chamber mixed with the primary air to form a swirl current. The frustoconical chamber extends to the inner surface of the burner to form a circular extended section to restrain the width of the flame; the extended section is parallel to the secondary air inlets distributed on the burner body around the periphery of the frustoconical chamber to effectively control the formation of NOx during combustion.
