A seal between two aircraft surfaces which are able to move relative to each other. A wing tip device moves between a flight configuration and a ground configuration, in which ground configuration the wing tip device is moved away from the fixed wing such that the span of the aircraft wing is reduced. The fixed wing and wing tip device each comprise an outer surface, and a male seal and female seal are arranged such that when the wing tip device is in the flight configuration the female seal receives the male seal, and the female seal and male seal cooperate to provide a smooth transition from the fixed wing outer surface to the wing tip device outer surface.

Seal

An aircraft wing including: a main wing portion with a tip end, and a wing tip device rotatably coupled to the tip end of the main wing portion at a joint, the wing tip device rotatable at the joint about a first axis between a flight configuration and a ground configuration; and a seal panel assembly including: a seal panel extending across the joint; a first connecting element having a first end non-rotatably coupled to the seal panel and a second end rotatably coupled to the main wing portion such that the seal panel is rotatable about a second axis; and a second connecting element having a first end rotatably coupled to the seal panel and a second end rotatably coupled to the wing tip device, such that rotation of the wing tip device about the first axis causes the seal panel to rotate about the second axis.

An aircraft assembly is disclosed including a longitudinal spar and an aerofoil cover integrally formed from a composite laminate material to form a spar-cover such that the composite material of the spar extends continuously into the cover through a fold region created between the spar and the cover. The spar and cover are separated by a recess at a longitudinal end of the fold region to define a spar end region and a cover end region, and a reinforcement element extends between the spar end region and the cover end region to couple the spar end region with the cover end region.
