A self-aligning bearing support assembly for supporting a radial load rotary or linear bearing. The bearing support assembly has a main axis (A) and includes an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve at least partially received in the outer sleeve. The inner sleeve has an axially extending bore for supporting a rotary or linear bearing or for forming a bearing surface of a bearing. Three or more circumferentially separated chambers are formed between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve. Each chamber is confined in all directions by walls of the assembly. A lump of a substantially incompressible material fills each of the at least three chambers with the chamber concerned substantially completely enclosing the lump.

Self-aligning bearing support assembly for supporting a radial load rotary or linear bearing

A damping arrangement () for damping radial vibrations in a rotating shaft (), the damping arrangement () comprising at least one first damping element (), at least one second damping element (), and a bearing arrangement () operably engaging the first damping element () and the second damping element (). The present invention provides a mixing device () for mixing urea with a gas, said urea being preferably dissolved in a fluid preferably water and said gas being preferably air. The mixing device comprises preferably a urea inlet () and a gas inlet () for feeding respectively urea and the gas into a mixing chamber () of the mixing device (), and an outlet () for outlet of the mix of urea and gas from the mixing chamber (), these inlets () and outlet () may preferably have a stream wise extension and runs preferably into the mixing chamber () and the outlet () originates preferably from the mixing chamber (). Preferably, at least the gas inlet () for feeding air into the mixing chamber is designed so that depositing of urea crystals on selected surfaces of the said inlet is substantially (typically in the sense that deposited crystals does not clog the inlet) or totally avoided.

Mixing device for mixing urea and air

A testing device for testing or analysing fluids comprises a separately produced holder () and a sheet-or plate-like test member () including analysis reagent. The holder defines an abutment surface () for engaging with a side surface of the test member. Projections () formed on the holder are positioned and shaped so as to allow insertion of the test member into the holder by moving the test member into engagement with said abutment surface while engaging with opposite edge portions thereof. The projections may, for example, be tooth-shaped and have pointed ends, and at least some of the projections may have a leading edge () forming a ramp sloping towards a plane defined by the abutment surface so as to facilitate insertion of the test member into the holder. A stack of such testing devices may be arranged within a cassette from which they may be fed successively into an automatic analyser. The holder of the testing device may be re-used.
