A pressure-measuring glow plug device includes a module housing, a glow plug configured to ignite a combustion mixture in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, and a pressure-measuring device. The pressure-measuring device has a pressure sensor configured to detect the pressure in the combustion chamber. The glow plug is connected to the module housing by a flexurally elastic membrane. The force acting on the glow plug in the combustion chamber is transferred to the pressure sensor, which is supported on a supporting element by a preloading force. The supporting element is fastened rigidly to the module housing by a sensor housing. The glow plug device further includes a separate loading sleeve that is connected at one end to the pressure-transferring piece and at the other end to the supporting element. The loading sleeve is configured to apply the preloading force for the pressure sensor.

Pressure-measuring glow plug device

A pressure-measuring glow plug has a heating pin for igniting a combustion mixture of an internal combustion engine and a pressure sensor for detecting a combustion chamber pressure of the internal combustion engine. The pressure-measuring glow plug has a contacting unit which includes a carrier for accommodating a signal processing unit and a plug connection having connecting contacts in a plug housing. A glow module housing for accommodating the heating pin and the pressure sensor and an electronic module housing for accommodating the carrier are provided. The electronic module housing is connected at a glow module-sided connecting location to the glow module housing and, at a plug-sided connecting location, to the plug housing.

A pressure measuring glow plug includes: a housing in which a heating pin for igniting a combustion mixture of an internal combustion engine and a pressure measuring unit for recording a combustion chamber pressure of the internal combustion engine are situated. The heating pin has a glow current contact for an electric heating element. At the end of the heating pin facing away from the combustion chamber, a pressure transmitting element is fastened, which transmits the combustion chamber pressure acting on the heating pin to the pressure measuring unit. The pressure transmitting element is sleeve-shaped and forms an accommodation space for the glow current contact of the heating element.

Pressure measuring glow plug

A pressure-measuring device for recording a pressure in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, having a force transmission body, situated in a housing, which is exposed to the combustion chamber and which transmits the combustion chamber pressure to a pressure-measuring unit at least indirectly by an axial motion, and having a flexible diaphragm, which is situated between the force transmission body and the housing. The flexible diaphragm is configured to be resilient to implement the axial motion of the force transmission body within the housing. A flexible additional diaphragm is connected ahead of the flexible diaphragm on the combustion chamber side, which seals the flexible diaphragm from the combustion chamber.

A device for detecting a pressure, in particular in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, has a housing and an adapter element secured in the housing for accommodating a sensor module. The sensor module includes at least one sensor element and one support element. The sensor element makes electrical contact with connecting lines which extend in the axial direction of the sensor module. The support element has a section on which support surfaces are formed for the connecting lines.

The device has a housing and an adapter element, secured in the housing, for accommodating a sensor module. The sensor module includes a transmission element, a sensor element and a supporting element, the sensor module being supported by way of the transmission element on a compensation member which is joined to the adapter element, and by way of the supporting element on a fixing element. At an end face pointing toward the sensor module, the compensation member is provided with a circular recess, in which the transmission element is accommodated in centered fashion.

A combustion chamber pressure sensor is provided for recording a pressure in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, the combustion chamber pressure sensor has a housing having an inner space that is at least partially enclosed by the housing. At least one mechanical-electrical transducer element, for recording the pressure, is accommodated in the housing. The housing has at least one housing opening. The housing opening is sealed by at least one diaphragm. The diaphragm has at least one convex curvature towards the inner space.

Combustion chamber pressure sensor for recording a pressure in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine

A sensor system includes: an at least partially magnetoelastic deformation element for measuring pressures, caused by a fluid, that are able to be applied to the magnetoelastic deformation element; and a magnetic circuit formed via a magnetic flux feedback and having a sensor unit and an evaluation unit. The sensor unit is positioned at the deformation element and the evaluation unit having an evaluation coil is structurally separated from, yet inductively coupled to, the sensor unit. The sensor unit has a sensor coil positioned on the deformation element and the evaluation unit has the evaluation coil that is inductively coupled to the sensor coil, the sensor coil forms a resonant circuit, using its own parasitic capacitance or using an additional capacitance, which is able to be energized by the evaluation coil in free resonance with strong or weak inductive coupling by a magnetic circuit enclosing the two coils.

Sensor system having a magnetoelastic deformation element

A sensor design, respectively a micromechanical sensor structure for capacitive relative-pressure measurement, that will allow very small pressure differentials to be reliably recorded at high absolute pressures even in harsh, particle-laden measuring environments. For that purpose, the micromechanical sensor element includes a deflectable diaphragm structure which is provided with at least one deflectable electrode, and a fixed support structure for at least one fixed counter-electrode which is located opposite the deflectable electrode. The diaphragm structure includes two mutually parallel configured diaphragms that are joined rigidly to one another via at least one connecting crosspiece, so that each application of force to one of the two diaphragms is directly transmitted to the respective other diaphragm. The first diaphragm is able to be pressurized by a first measuring pressure emanating from the front side of the sensor element, and the second diaphragm is able to be pressurized by a second measuring pressure emanating from the rear side of the sensor element. The fixed counter-electrode is located in the sealed volume between the two diaphragms of the diaphragm structure.
