A connecting device with a pipe socket and a hose made of rubber-like material. The pipe socket and the hose abut in a sealing zone which is encased over at least a part of its length by a hose reinforcement which forms part of a geometric fastening configuration with which the pipe socket and the hose are held together.

A structural component with a tubular section, particularly a structural component of a fluid line, has at least two materials with different stiffness and/or creeping strength, wherein the materials include thermoplastic synthetic materials and wherein the material having the greater stiffness and/or creeping strength is embedded in the other material. The tubular section has a continuous annular surface which extends coaxially with the longitudinal center axis of the structural component and has the same material which has been injection molded over the annular surface in a predetermined quantity ratio relative to the outer material, or between 40% and 100% of the annular surface are composed of the same injection molded material and are distributed in uniform spacings in circumferential direction of the annular surface.

In a method for manufacturing a socket for connecting a fluid conduit to a container made from thermoplastic synthetic material, wherein the socket has a first socket-shaped material arrangement of at least one layer and a second socket-shaped material arrangement of at least one layer, wherein the first material arrangement is thinner than the second material arrangement and the first and second material arrangements are both made of thermoplastic material at least predominantly and fuse with one another to form a fused joint, the first material arrangement is molded by extrusion or injection molding to a plane film or plate or to a hose. The film or plate is deepdrawn or the hose is blowmolded to a first preform with a socket contour. The second material arrangement is applied onto one side of the first preform in a socket contour by injection molding, coinjection or a monosandwich process.

Method for manufacturing a socket

A fluid line of thermoplastic material includes a first end section integral with a principal part of the fluid line which is at least partially undulated. A first holding rib engages behind at least one locking projection of a connecting ring. The ring engages behind a second holding rib on a second end section of the pipe. The first end section has an essentially conical initial section located adjacent the principal part of the fluid line. The initial section has an outer diameter which increases in a direction toward the free end of the first end section. The initial section is adjacent to an intermediate section whose outer diameter decreases from the greatest diameter of the initial section to the smallest diameter of a locking groove for the engagement of a first locking projection.

Fluid line

Plug part of a plug-type connection arrangement for connecting two fluid lines and plug-type connection arrangement including the plug part. The plug part includes at least one two-layer area, the two layers of the two-layer area including a metallic material. At least a portion of the plug part is structured and arranged to be fed into a coupling part of the plug-type connection arrangement.

A coupling for joining two pipes having end sections, each of which is provided with a circumferential locking rib and can be inserted into the coupling, wherein the coupling has at least one elastic ring that joins at least two elongated webs, and wherein the coupling has stop projections, which lock in place behind the locking ribs when the end sections are inserted in the coupling and can be unlocked to release the connection of the pipes by expanding the at least one ring. Each ring is a separate element from the webs.

Coupling for joining two pipes

A connecting arrangement has end sections of two fluid conduits to be connected to one another and a coupling element having an axis and an outer side surrounding the axis and an inner side surrounding the axis. On the circumference of the end sections first securing ribs extend in the circumferential direction. On the inner side of the coupling element second securing ribs extending in the circumferential direction are provided proximal to each axial end of the coupling element. The coupling element is coaxially coupled to the end sections in the coupled state of the connecting arrangement by being elastically expanded, wherein the second securing ribs lock behind the first securing ribs and the end sections are coupled seal-tightly with one another. The coupling element is a circular cylindrical sleeve that is closed circumferentially.

A coupling assembly includes pipe sockets of fluid-holding parts to be joined. The pipe sockets are provided with a peripheral locking rib, behind which a groove is formed and which has a conical front flank and a radial rear flank. The front flanks of the locking ribs lie opposite each other. The rear flank of one locking rib bounds a groove. The coupling assembly also contains a steel spring band, which is curved more than 240&#xb0; and whose axial ends have inwardly directed flanges which engage behind the locking ribs and are interrupted on the side of the spring band opposite the ends of the spring band. The front flanks of the locking ribs enclose an angle &#x3c;50&#xb0; with the center axis, the radius of the smallest circumference of the front flanks is smaller than the inner radius of the flanges of the spring band.

Moulding compound, comprising 30 to 80% by weight of a polyamide as a thermoplastic matrix and of a cross-linked, disperse elastomer phase which is bonded to the thermoplastic matrix and contains 10 to 69% by weight of an ethylene copolymer and also 1 to 10% by weight of a compatibility agent, selected from the compounds obtained by means of grafting of &#x3b1;, &#x3b2;, ethylene-unsaturated mono- and/or dicarboxylic acids or derivatives thereof on an ethylene-copolymer-polymer backbone, respectively relative to the moulding compound.

Moulding compound and method for production thereof

A fluid line with a pipe provided with a sleeve of a woven or braided fabric, wherein the pipe, in turn, includes at least one conductor. In the finished state of the fluid line, the sleeve immediately surrounds the pipe and each conductor is loosely arranged in the sleeve. In accordance with another embodiment, the at least one conductor forms the sleeve.

A part for connecting a fluid line to an opening of a container comprised of thermoplastic material or for closing the opening of the container has a first component and a second component of thermoplastic material. The first component has a surface to be connected to the container by forming a welded heat fusion joint. The first component has an insufficient diffusion barrier capability relative to hydrocarbon fuel. Compared to the material of the first component, the material of the second component has higher diffusion barrier capability, reduced swelling capability relative hydrocarbon fuel, higher mechanical strength, and higher thermal shape stability. The first component encloses the second component at least up to an injection location remote from the connecting surface. The material of the second component is injected into the still formable core of the material of the first component via the injection location.

A plug-type connection arrangement for a hose and a pipe, the connection arrangement comprising a sleeve having an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein the hose is insertable from an end of the sleeve and is clampable in the sleeve, wherein the sleeve has at another end thereof a first annular groove with an open resilient connecting ring which extends over more than 180&#xb0; and is lockable to the sleeve and the pipe, and a sealing ring for sealing the sleeve relative to the pipe in a connected state of the pipe and the hose, the connecting ring being comprised of a plate spring ring with inwardly directed flanges at both circumferential edges thereof, wherein the flanges of one circumferential edge are engageble in the first annular groove and the flanges of the other circumferential edge are engageable behind a holding rib on the pipe, wherein the sealing ring is mounted in a second annular groove formed by the inner wall of the sleeve and the axially inner wall of the first annular groove, and wherein an end portion of the pipe is insertable into the sleeve.

Plug-type connection arrangement for a hose and a pipe

A tubular socket for connecting a fluid conduit to a thermoplastic container has first and second thermoplastic parts connected to one another by a multi-component injection molding process. The first part has a smaller creep tendency under pressure load and a smaller swellability relative to hydrocarbon-containing fluids than the second part. The second part is fusion-welded to the container. The second part contains a reinforcement filler that is selected such that the creep tendency and swellability of the second part are approximately the same as that of the first part. A connection strength between the second part and the container is at least as high as that between first and second parts. A thermal shape stability of the second part is at least the same as the thermal shape stability of the container and at most approximately the same as the thermal shape stability of the first part.
