The central processing unit determines the position of the two tire sensors of the double tire from a distribution or course of a current flow during wheel rotation.

A method for distance measurement and data transmission in a continuous wave radar system is described. A continuous wave radar system has a transmit and receive module and at least one transponder device, a mobile control and monitoring device and an HMI system. Transponder devices are searched for with the aid of an unmodulated continuous wave signal as an interrogation signal, such that the transponder device can send a radio response signal to the transmit and receive module in response to the interrogation signal, as a result of which a data transmission takes place from the transponder device to the transmit and receive module. Upon completion of the data transmission a frequency-modulated continuous wave signal is generated in order to measure, on the basis thereof, a distance between the transponder device and the transmit and receive module.

There is described a method for enabling the operation of automation components of a technical system via a mobile control and monitoring device. In a first step, the control and monitoring device receives a first identification from a first transponder device, with the first transponder device being attached to the technical system, with the first transponder device having been activated by the automation components and with the first identification having been transmitted via a wireless communication connection from the automation components to the mobile control and monitoring device. In a further step the communication connection between the control and monitoring device and the automation components is deactivated. The mobile control and monitoring device sends a carrier signal and following that receives the carrier signal modulated by the first transponder device. A first distance between the control and monitoring device and the first transponder device is then determined from the modulated carrier signal. In addition, a first radio-determined identification from the first transponder device is determined from the modulated carrier signal. Following the reception of the modulated carrier signal, the communication connection is reactivated. If the first distance is shorter than a predetermined first distance and if the radio-determined first identification corresponds to the first identification, the operation of the automation components is enabled.

A method for assigning a position of a tire, having a tire sensor, on a vehicle, includes transmitting, with the sensor, a signal including at least an identification number of the sensor following activation by a signal from an LF antenna connected to an evaluation unit. At a system start time, the evaluation unit first initiates an initialization including determination of the position of each tire having a sensor. The evaluation unit stores the identification number of each sensor together with the determined position of the tire having the sensor, before switching into a normal operating mode in which tire data, for example air pressure, is monitored by the sensors, with the position and preferably assignment of the sensor to a specific LF antenna, being stored in the sensor and kept available for retrieval. The invention relates to a method for reduction of the power consumption of a mobile data memory with a non-contact data transmission by means of a read/write device. According to the invention, the mobile data memory, containing at least one energy store and user, is supplied, at least during a cyclic inactive idle mode, with a first clock frequency from a first oscillator and, for data receipt at least during a cyclic request time, with a second higher clock frequency from a second oscillator. The second clock frequency is determined above all for data modulation of a received signal, obtained from the reception antenna or from a combined transmission/reception antenna on the mobile data memory. The invention further relates to a mobile data memory and an identification system with at least one read/write device and one mobile data memory. The advantage of requiring no battery exchange during the life of the mobile data memory is thus conferred.

Said charging device (BEV) is further capable of calculating a characteristic signature (SIG) for the stretch of road (STR) traveled by the vehicle (FAR) by means of location co-ordinates (OKO) for the vehicle (FAR) and transmitting the same to an accounting centre (ABZ), outside the vehicle.
