A method for a zone passage control system for an underground worksite having a plurality of operation zones for autonomously operating mobile vehicle operations includes the steps of associating a first passage control unit with a first zone and a second zone, detecting state parameter information of the first zone and the second zone, merging the first zone and the second zone into a fusion zone on the basis of the state parameter information of the first zone and the second zone, and adapting the zone passage control system to allow a first autonomously operating mobile vehicle to pass the first passage control unit in the fusion zone without interrupting operation of a second autonomously operating mobile vehicle in the first zone and/or the second zone.

A method for zone passage control in an underground worksite having a plurality of operation zones for autonomously operating mobile vehicle operations includes the steps of receiving position information of at least one autonomously operating mobile vehicle in a fusion zone merged of at least a first zone and a second zone associated with a first passage control unit, and in response to detecting a mobile object by a second passage control unit associated with the first zone, performing: checking position of the at least one autonomously operating mobile vehicle, in response to an autonomously operating mobile vehicle being positioned in the second zone, preventing a control command to stop the autonomously operating mobile vehicle in the second zone, and demerging the first zone and the second zone.

According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus comprising at least one processing core, at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code being configured to, with the at least one processing core, cause the apparatus at least to determine a route based at least partly on a thematic map database and a current location of the apparatus, present the determined route as a suggested route to a first user, and responsive to the first user approving the suggested route, initiate an activity session based on the suggested route.

The invention relates to a device and method for monitoring a swimming performance. The device comprises one or more motion-sensitive sensors for providing motion data characteristic to the motion of the swimmer during said swimming performance and a computing unit adapted to detect body motions from said motion data using predefined criteria. According to the invention the computing unit comprises means for calculating a plurality of correlation factors depicting correlation of motion data between successive body motions detected, means for storing the correlation factors as a time series, and means for determining one or more parameters characteristic to the swimming performance based on said correlation factors stored. The invention can be used for robust determination of swimmer's turns, distance swum or swimming style, for example.

A system for zone passage control for a zone of an autonomously operating mobile object includes at least a set of detection units to detect at least one mobile object entering and/or exiting the zone, a set of identification units arranged to identify the mobile object entering and/or exiting the zone, and a central controller being arranged in operational connection with the set of the detection units and with the set of the identification units. A method for loading a dumper with broken rock or the like and an apparatus for implementing the method. In the method, a loading area is defined for the dumper. The dumper is stopped at the loading area at a predefined position for loading. An emptying area is correspondingly defined in advance for a loader for transporting the material in its bucket onto the dumper box. The apparatus includes a controller for controlling the dumper at least during loading, and the controller includes means for stopping the dumper for loading at the predefined position so that the material transported by the loader can be emptied onto the dumper box in a predefined location in the longitudinal direction.
