A system and method is disclosed for anchoring a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to a wind turbine blade. The method includes disposing one or more fasteners of the CNC machine at a surface of the wind turbine blade and implementing one or more tools of the CNC machine at a portion of the wind turbine blade. This method enables efficient and precise machining operations to be performed directly on the wind turbine blade, facilitating maintenance and repair tasks while minimizing downtime and reducing costs associated with blade removal and transportation. The anchoring of the CNC machine ensures stability and accuracy during the machining process, resulting in improved blade performance and extended operational lifespan of the wind turbine.

An offshore wind turbine blade and tower maintenance devices and systems, more particularly, to the system for service tools positioning relative to the offshore wind turbine blade and tower. An arrangement for lowering and raising service tools used for offshore wind turbine blade and tower maintenance, having: a truss system, a rigging and a rigging pulling in and letting out means. The truss system, includes booms, pivotally attached to a supporting means, which are adapted to be leaned against or releasably fixed to a wind turbine tower or wind turbine tower mooring elements; wherein the rigging and a rigging pulling in and letting out means are operably connected with the truss system, so to allow lowering and raising service tools used for offshore wind turbine blade and tower maintenance.

Arrangement for lowering and raising service tools used for wind turbine blade and tower maintenance

A rotating wind turbine blade optical inspection devices and systems. The system for inspection, having: a camera; a rotatable device designed to controllably rotate camera along axis, not camera's lens axis of rotational symmetry; a laser distance sensor or a dynamic vision sensor and a computer system; the camera, the rotatable device and the laser distance sensor or the dynamic vision sensor operably connected with the computer system; wherein the camera is adapted to be mounted on the rotatable device; the distance or the vision sensors' optical axis is directed at a set distance from the camera's optical axis; wherein the computer system: (i) to receives a signal from the distance or vision sensors; (ii) to determines camera's activation time based on the signal from the distance sensor or vision sensors and a pre-set adjustable delay time; (iii) to activate the camera acquiring an image of a blade area inspected.
