A vacuum adiabatic body includes a first plate, a second plate, and a seal for sealing the first plate and the second plate to provide a vacuum space. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body includes a side plate extending in a height direction of the vacuum space. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body includes a supporter for maintaining the vacuum space. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body includes a heat transfer resistor for reducing heat transfer between the first plate and the second plate. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body includes a component coupler connected to at least one of the first and second plates and to which a component is coupled. Optionally, the second plate and the side plate are provided as one body by a single body. Thus, the productivity of the vacuum adiabatic body is improved.

Vacuum adiabatic body and fabrication method for the same

A vacuum adiabatic body includes a first plate member, a second plate member, a sealing part which seals between the first plate member and the second plate member, a conductive resistance sheet which connects the first plate member and the second plate member to each other so as to reduce a heat transfer amount between the first plate member and the second plate member, and at least one reinforcing frame which is installed on at least one of the first plate member and the second plate member to reinforce strength, in which the reinforcement frame includes at least one of at least one of a pair of front frames extending at left and right end portions of the opening in a vertical direction, and at least one of a pair of upper and lower frames of a machine chamber extending in the third space in the vertical direction.

Vacuum adiabatic body and refrigerator

A washing machine is configured to perform washing using carbon dioxide. The washing machine includes a first housing that defines an opening and an inner space, a drum disposed in the inner space of the first housing and configured to receive laundry, a barrier that is coupled to the first housing and seals the opening of the first housing, and a second housing that faces a surface of the barrier and is coupled to the first housing. The barrier defines (i) a first space between the first housing and the barrier from leaking and (ii) a second space between the second housing, where the barrier is configured to block liquid carbon dioxide injected into the first space from leaking into the second space.

Washing machine

A vacuum adiabatic body and a refrigerator are provided. The vacuum adiabatic body includes a support. The support includes a main support having a two-dimensional planar structure and crossing a space, and a first bar and a second bar, which respectively extend from both sides of the main support toward a first plate and a second plate, respectively.

A vacuum adiabatic body according to an embodiment may include a first plate, a second plate, and a seal that seals a gap between the first plate and the second plate. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body according to an embodiment may include a support that maintains a vacuum space. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body according to an embodiment may include a heat transfer resistor that reduces an amount of heat transfer between the first plate and the second plate. A vacuum adiabatic body according to an embodiment may include a first plate, a second plate, and a seal that seals a gap between the first plate and the second plate. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body according to an embodiment may include a support that maintains a vacuum space. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body according to an embodiment may include a heat transfer resistor that reduces an amount of heat transfer between the first plate and the second plate. Optionally, the vacuum adiabatic body may include a component coupling portion connected to at least one of the first or second plate so that a component is coupled thereto. Optionally, the second plate may provide the seal. Optionally, the second plate may include an outer panel disposed outside the second plate when the vacuum space is centered. Accordingly, the vacuum adiabatic body may be improved in productivity.

Vacuum adiabatic body

Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. The vacuum adiabatic body includes a mullion configured to divide the first space into two spaces and a connection pipe supported on the mullion so as to be fixed in position, the connection pipe being configured to connect the two space to each other. According to the embodiment, the vacuum adiabatic body may increase in strength, and also, a passing path of defrosting water may be secured.

Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. The vacuum adiabatic body includes a first plate configured to define at least a portion of a wall for a first space, a second plate configured to define at least a portion of a wall for a second space having a temperature different from that of the first space, a seal configured to seal the first plate and the second plate so as to provide a third space that has a temperature between a temperature of the first space and a temperature of the second space and is in a vacuum state, and a support configured to maintain the third space. Therefore, the vacuum adiabatic module that is thermally insulated with the vacuum, independently applied at various places, and conveniently used may be realized.

Vacuum adiabatic module, refrigerator, and method for fabricating the refrigerator

A washing machine includes: a frame, a drum receiving laundry, a washing chamber including (i) a first housing defining an opening and a space into which the drum is inserted, (ii) a barrier surrounding the opening and coupled to the first housing, and (iii) a second housing surrounding a first surface of the barrier and coupled to the first housing, a storage tank receiving carbon dioxide to be supplied to the drum, a distillation chamber separating contaminants dissolved in liquid carbon dioxide, an electronic unit, and a configuration unit. The configuration unit includes a pipe moving the carbon dioxide, a first compressor and a second compressor compressing the carbon dioxide discharged after washing is completed in the drum and moving the compressed carbon dioxide into the storage tank, and an oil separator separating oil from the carbon dioxide compressed in the first compressor and the second compressor.

A vacuum adiabatic body includes a heat exchange pipeline and a sealing plug. The heat exchange pipeline includes at least two pipelines which pass through a first plate and a second plate to allow a refrigerant to move between inner and outer spaces. The sealing plug allows the heat exchange pipeline to pass through a first point of the first plate and a second point of the second plate without contacting a third space.

Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. The vacuum adiabatic body includes an outer case made of a metal material, which is thicker than a plate providing a vacuum space. The vacuum space provides two extension modules that extend in directions different from each other. Accordingly, a refrigerator door may be improved in adiabatic performance.

Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. The vacuum adiabatic body includes a mullion configured to divide a space within the refrigerator into a refrigerating compartment and a freezing compartment, an ice maker placed in the freezing compartment, and an ice-making cool air passage passing through the mullion to connect the freezing compartment to the ice maker. Therefore, cool air may be supplied in an adiabatic state to the ice maker disposed in the refrigerating compartment.

Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. The vacuum adiabatic body includes a conductive resistance sheet configured to connect the first plate to the second plate so as to reduce a heat transfer amount between the first plate and the second plate and a cover assembly configured to cover the conductive resistance sheet. The cover assembly includes an inner cover configured to protect an inside, an outer cover configured to protect an outside, and a front cover configured to protect a front side. The front cover is thicker than the plate. The protection of the conductive resistance sheet and the improvement of the adiabatic effect may be obtained.

Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. To reduce a heat transfer amount between two plates, the vacuum adiabatic body includes: a conductive resistance sheet connecting plate members to each other, an exhaust port through which a gas of a third space is exhausted, and a sealing frame covering a conductive resistance sheet. A virtual line connecting both end portions of the conductive resistance sheet to each other is installed to be obliquely inclined when at least one extension direction of a first plate member or a second plate member is viewed in a horizontal direction.

Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. The vacuum adiabatic body includes a supporting unit configured to maintain a vacuum space part. The supporting unit includes a plurality of bars extending in a vertical direction between the first plate member and the second plate member.
