Pixel and display device

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a gate driver, a data driver and an emission driver. The display panel includes a pixel. The gate driver provides a gate signal to the pixel. The data driver provides a data voltage to the pixel. The emission driver provides an emission signal to the pixel. The pixel includes a light emitting element, a driving switching element which applies a driving current to the light emitting element, a storage capacitor connected to a control electrode of the driving switching element and a bias capacitor including a first electrode connected to the storage capacitor and a second electrode which receives a bias gate signal. A waveform of the bias gate signal varies based on an off ratio representing a ratio of an off period of the emission signal in a frame period.

Display apparatus and method of driving the same

A display panel includes: a plurality of pixels, each of which includes a light emitting element and a pixel circuit for driving the light emitting element; a plurality of scan lines connected to the pixel circuit; and a data line connected to the pixel circuit. The pixel circuit includes: a transfer capacitor connected to a first node and a second node; a first circuit part including the first node; a second circuit including the second node and connected with the light emitting element; and a test unit connected to the first circuit part and the second circuit part.

Display panel and method for inspecting display panel

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a gate driver, a data driver and an emission driver. The display panel includes a pixel. The gate driver is configured to provide a gate signal to the pixel. The data driver is configured to provide a data voltage to the pixel. The emission driver is configured to provide an emission signal to the pixel. The pixel includes a light emitting element, a driving switching element and a bias switching element. The driving switching element is configured to apply a driving current to the light emitting element. The bias switching element is configured to provide a bias voltage to an input electrode of the driving switching element. A frequency of a bias gate signal applied to a control electrode of the bias switching element is greater than a frequency of a data write gate signal applied to the pixel.

Display apparatus

A pixel includes: a light emitting diode; a first transistor; a first capacitor connected between a first node and a gate electrode of the first transistor; a second transistor including a first electrode electrically connected to the gate electrode of the first transistor, a second electrode and a gate electrode which receives a first scan signal; and a third transistor including a first electrode electrically connected to the second electrode of the second transistor, a second electrode electrically connected to a third voltage line, and a gate electrode which receives a second scan signal. During an initialization period, an initialization voltage provided from the third voltage line is provided to the gate electrode of the first transistor through the third and second transistors, and, when the initialization period is terminated, at least one of the second transistor and the third transistor is turned off.

A display device is disclosed that includes a first circuit including a driving transistor including a first electrode, a second electrode, a gate electrode, and a back gate electrode, a light emitting element including an anode and a cathode connected to the first circuit, and a second circuit including a first transistor connected between the back gate electrode of the driving transistor and a compensation voltage line, and a second transistor connected between the back gate electrode of the driving transistor and a first voltage line.

Display device and method of driving the same

A pixel circuit includes a light emitting element, a driving switching element, a storage capacitor, a data voltage applying switching element and a first leakage compensation switching element. The driving switching element is configured to apply a driving current to the light emitting element. The storage capacitor is connected to a control electrode of the driving switching element. The data voltage applying switching element is configured to apply a data voltage to the storage capacitor. The first leakage compensation switching element is disposed between the storage capacitor and the data voltage applying switching element.

Each of the plurality of pixels includes a light-emitting diode, a power line, an initialization voltage line, an initialization signal line, a bias voltage line, a transistor including a first gate in contact with the initialization signal line through a first contact and electrically connected between the initialization voltage line and the anode, and a transistor including a second gate in contact with the initialization signal line through a second contact and electrically connected between the power line and the bias voltage line. Provided is a scan driver for applying a bias voltage comprising a kstage that includes an inputter transmitting an input signal to a first node, a stress reliever disposed between the first node and a second node, a carry signal outputter receiving a high-power-supply voltage and a second clock signal and outputting the second clock signal, an output signal outputter receiving the high-power-supply voltage and a third clock signal and outputting the third clock signal, a maintainer transmitting the first clock signal to a third node, and a stabilizer applying a first low-power-supply voltage to the third node and the high-power-supply voltage to the first node. The first and second clock signals selectively toggle between the high-power-supply voltage and the first low-power-supply voltage, the third clock signal selectively toggles between the high-power-supply voltage and a second low-power-supply voltage, and the bias voltage is adjusted as the second low-power-supply voltage varies.
