A battery pack, which includes a pack connector having a simple structure and effectively preventing the inflow and outflow of noise. The battery pack includes a cell assembly having at least one secondary battery; a battery control unit configured to control a charging and discharging operation of the cell assembly; a pack case configured to accommodate the cell assembly and the battery control unit in an inner space thereof; and a pack connector connected to the battery control unit through a control cable and including a connection port provided to at least one side of the pack case to be exposed out for the connection with a connecting terminal of an external device and a filtering member embedded therein to filter noise on an electric path between the connection port and the control cable.

Battery pack

Provided is a battery pack connector having a simple structure and capable of effectively preventing noise from flowing into or out of a battery pack. The battery pack connector includes: a communication connecting unit configured to be connectable to a communication wire for exchanging information with the battery management system; and a power supply connecting unit configured to be connectable to a power supply wire for supplying driving power to the battery management system and having at least a portion including a noise blocking material.

An apparatus and method for diagnosing whether a charging and discharging switching element provided on a charging and discharging path of a battery pack operates normally. A charging and discharging switching unit having a charging and discharging switch and a fuse is installed on a charging and discharging path between a battery cell and a pack terminal. The apparatus includes a first diagnosing path a second diagnosing path, a third diagnosing path, an integrated diagnosing path having a diagnosis switching unit and a diagnosis resistor, a voltage measuring unit, and a control unit configured to turn on and off the diagnosis switching unit and determine whether the charging and discharging switching unit is operating abnormally based on the diagnosis voltage measured by the voltage measuring unit.

Battery pack diagnosis apparatus

An apparatus and method for selecting a ground capacitor that is connected between a ground of a circuit board included in a battery pack and a vehicle chassis. The apparatus includes a checking module configured to check a ground location on the circuit board; a selecting module configured to select a reference location on the circuit board, based on the ground location checked by the checking module; a calculating module configured to calculate a distance from the reference location selected by the selecting module to a nearest ground location as a reference distance; a computing module configured to compute a reference frequency by using the reference distance calculated by the calculating module; and a choosing module configured to choose a recommended capacitor, based on the reference frequency computed by the computing module.
