Systems and methods for determining critical timing paths in a superconducting circuit design including Josephson junctions are provided. An example method includes providing timing information concerning a plurality of source terminals of at least one logic gate coupled with a first sink terminal of the at least one logic gate. The method further includes using a processor, determining whether, in view of the timing information, the first sink terminal is reachable by a single flux quantum (SFQ) pulse within a predetermined range of arrival time based on an assigned first phase to the at least one logic gate.

Determining critical timing paths in a superconducting circuit design

Techniques described herein provide multi-factor authentication based on positioning data. Generally described, configurations disclosed herein enable a system to authorize a particular action using positioning data, and possibly other data, associated with an identity. For example, when a user wishes to change a password or access a secured account, the system can authenticate a user if a device associated with the user is located in the secure area. The system can authenticate a user if a requested operation and/or a predetermined pattern of movement associated with the user is detected. For instance, the system allows the user to change the password when the user's computer has followed a predetermined pattern of movement, and when one or more verification procedures meets one or more criteria while the location of the computing device is within the predetermined area.

Multi-factor authentication using positioning data

Superconducting circuit with virtual timing elements and related methods are described. A method includes specifying a superconducting circuit portion including a timing path comprising: (1) at least one logic gate to be implemented using Josephson junctions, (2) a first virtual timing element for defining a synchronization point along the timing path, and (3) a second virtual timing element for adding latency to the timing path. The method further includes synthesizing the superconducting circuit portion, where the synthesizing comprises treating the first virtual timing element as a first flip-flop and the second virtual timing element as a second flip-flop, where the first flip-flop is treated as being fixed in relation to the at least one logic gate along the timing path, but the second flip-flop is treated as being movable in relation to the at least one logic gate along the timing path.

Superconducting circuit with virtual timing elements and related methods

Systems and methods for determining timing paths and reconciling topology in a superconducting circuit design are provided. The design may include a first timing path having a first set of timing pins associated with a first timing constraint group including a first timing endpoint and a second timing endpoint. An example method includes processing the first timing constraint group to assign a first legal start time to the first timing endpoint and a second legal start time to the second timing endpoint. The method further includes inserting a first shadow element representing a first physically connected component on the timing path, where the first shadow element precedes the first timing endpoint or follows the second timing endpoint. The method further includes addressing any changes to the first legal start time or the second legal start time caused by an insertion of the first shadow element on the timing path.

Determining timing paths and reconciling topology in a superconducting circuit design

Examples are disclosed that relate to devices and methods for sharing geo-located information between different devices. In one example, a method comprises receiving the geo-located information from a first user device having a first data type compatible with a first output component of the device, receiving first sensor data from the first device, determining a location of the geo-located information within a coordinate system in a physical environment, determining that a second user device is located in the physical environment, determining that the second device does not comprise an output component that is compatible with the first data type, transforming the geo-located information into a second data type compatible with a second output component of the second device, determining that the second device is proximate to the location of the geo-located information, and sending the geo-located information to the second device for output by the second output component.

Sharing geo-located information

The location of a computing device is determined, and the location of an area of interest that is a geographic area referred to as a geo-fence is identified. The accuracy of the determined location of the computing device has an associated uncertainty, so the exact position of the computing device cannot typically be pinpointed. In light of this, the uncertainty associated with the determined location is evaluated relative to the size of the geo-fence in order to determine whether the computing device is inside the geo-fence or outside the geo-fence. Based on this determination, various actions can be taken if the user is entering the geo-fence, exiting the geo-fence, remaining in the geo-fence for at least a threshold amount of time, and so forth.

Detecting geo-fence events using varying confidence levels

A computing device includes at least one processor and a memory, the memory storing computer-executable instructions for causing the device to be configured to load a subset of geo-fences from secondary storage to primary storage for tracking by the computing device, the subset of geo-fences selected from a set of available geo-fences stored in the secondary storage, based on a selection criteria. The computing device further creates a boundary geo-fence with a radius corresponding to a distance between a current location of the computing device and an edge of a geo-fence in the subset of geo-fences that is furthest from the current location of the computing device. Upon detecting a geo-fence event associated with a new location of the computing device in relation to the boundary geo-fence, a new subset of geo-fences is re-loaded, and a new boundary geo-fence is created based on the new location of the computing device.

Scalability and reliability of hardware geo-fencing with failover support

Processes for identifying and recovering a lost transient storage device are provided. In some processes, information regarding the owner of the device is obtained. The device ownership information may be stored on a remote service with which the device is registered and/or may be stored on the device itself. In one process, the remote service provides the device with customized device-executable code when the device is registered. The device may also contain information regarding trusted systems. The process includes obtaining status information indicating whether a device is lost when the device is connected to a host system. In some processes, the status is determined by a remote service. In other processes, the status is determined by the device. If the device is lost then a device recovery plan is executed. Portions of a device recovery plan may be executed on the remote service, the host system, and/or the device.

Systems for finding a lost transient storage device

This document describes techniques for detecting state loss on a device. These techniques permit a computer connected to a device to forgo, in many cases, reinitializing the device when returning to a normal-power mode.

Detecting state loss on a device

Systems and methods disclosed herein may include tracking one or more geo-fences using a GNSS hardware processor within a computing device. The tracking may use at least one GNSS signal. State changes of the one or more geo-fences during the tracking may be saved in a shared state database. The shared state database may be shared between the GNSS hardware processor and an application processor within the computing device. Upon detecting a deterioration of the at least one GNSS signal, tracking the one or more geo-fences may be switched from using the GNSS hardware processor to using the application processor. After the switching, an initial state of each of the one or more geo-fences may be set by using states currently stored in the shared state database prior to the switching.

Improving scalability and reliability of hardware geo-fencing with failover support

A collection of multiple user credentials each associated with one of multiple different users is obtained at a device, and one or more of the multiple user credentials are verified. A determination is made as to whether access to a resource is permitted, by at least comparing the collection of multiple user credentials to a threshold combination of user credentials to be satisfied to access the resource. An indication of whether access to the resource by a requesting user is permitted is returned or provided to another device.
