A compressed unit dose toilet cleaning tablet for use with a wand. The composition contains an anionic surfactant, a carbonate or bicarbonate salt, an organic acid, and about 10% to about 40% by weight polyethylene glycol having molecular weight greater than 3,350. A unit dose of the composition is compressed into a tablet or puck that dissolves in toilet water after cleaning.

Microplastic-free, opacified liquid laundry detergents

A structured liquid detergent composition includes water, an anionic detergent surfactant, and a nonionic detergent surfactant. A ratio of the anionic detergent surfactant to the nonionic detergent surfactant is from about 0.5 to about 20. The structured liquid detergent composition further includes a zwitterionic or amphoteric surfactant and a bacterial-derived cellulose network. The structured liquid detergent composition exhibits improved rheological properties.

Aqueous detergent compositions

The present invention provides methods for determining mild aqueous laundry detergent formulations, mild liquid laundry detergent formulations, and methods for preparing the same. The formulations comprise various surfactants and have a low detergent mildness indicator, derived from combining results from Zein test, corneosurfametry test, and in vitro cytokine release test.

In addition, the present invention provides methods of making a beneficial composition comprising: (a) providing an encapsulated benefit agent composition comprising a core comprising at least one benefit agent and a water-insoluble shell; (b) providing a suspension medium comprising at least one suspending polymer and at least one clay; (c) adding the encapsulated benefit agent composition to the suspension medium; and (d) mixing the suspension medium and the encapsulated benefit agent composition to form a substantially uniform aqueous suspension.
