A circuit and a process are used to control operation of an electromagnetic drive arrangement for power window lifters, sun roofs, or door locks of a motor vehicle. After recognition of a failure of functions or parts thereof or electrical or electronic components, emergency operation is initiated. The operation of electromagnetic drive arrangement is enabled by a switching element, and the control level for the control of the switching element is verified by the running of a safety routine before possible emergency operation.

Circuit for control of power windows, sun roofs, or door locks in motor vehicles

A vehicle door has a door outside panel and a door inside panel provided with a large surface area cut-out recess which is covered by a support plate in a sealed manner, so that the door body is divided into a wet cell lying between the door outside panel and the support plate, and a dry cell lying between the support plate and an adjoining door inside trim. There are electrical and/or electronic components prefitted on the support plate, and electrical plug connectors which are arranged on the support plate on the dry cell side. Further, switch elements are mounted on the dry cell side of the support plate for manually controlling the electrical and/or electrical components. No electrical connection exists between the switch elements and the door inside trim. At least one of the switch elements provided for manually controlling the electrical and/or electronic components is an electrical, opto-electrical, optical or magnetic structural element which can be brought into active connection with a mechanical operating element assigned to the door inside trim.

The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a prefabricated motor vehicle door module and is directed to improving the manufacturing efficiency of complex technical systems with extensive cabling. Process for manufacturing a prefabricated vehicle door module

There is a method for controlling the movement of electrically operated assemblies, more particularly of window lifters, sliding roofs or the like in motor vehicles. The assembly has a setting device is connected to a drive device. At least in one partial area of the displacement path, the displacement force is restricted to a predetermined maximum value. A parameter is proportional to the displacement force of the electrically operated assembly. Upon reaching a boundary value corresponding to the maximum value of the displacement force over a predetermined time span, the parameter is regulated to a value corresponding to this boundary value.

Method for electronic control and adjustment of the movement of electrically actuated units

A method for restricting the surplus force of an electrically controlled assembly operated by a foreign force, which can be used with particular advantage in connection with window lifters which are fitted with an anti-jam detection device. The method is characterized by a high automatic adaptation to the markedly fluctuating external conditions to which a window lifter is subjected, and by the compensation of system-conditioned fluctuations. The position of the assembly is continuously determined during the displacement process and at least one measured value correlated with the displacement force of the assembly is recorded in the inlet area of the stop position. This measured value is increased through the electronics unit by a predetermined amount and defined as a switch-off criterion so that the drive is switched off when this criterion is exceeded or understepped.

Process for limiting the excess force of an electrically controlled aggregate actuated by an external force when it nears its top or bottom stop positions, in particular for a motor vehicle window lifter nearing its closure position

A vehicle door in modular structure including a door shell which is completed by an assembly-bearing support plate and a single or multi-part inner door lining. The vehicle door includes a twin-shell door shell with an outer door panel and inner door panel which are connected together along their edges wherein the inner door panel has a cut-out section which is covered substantially by a support plate with functional units mounted thereon, such as window lift mechanism, lock, and cable tree. A lining body covers the door on the inside, and at least one part of the lining body is in preassembled connection with the support plate. A cover frame covers the connecting points between the lining body and support plate or inner door panel and support plate.
