The present invention provides an auto-injection device including a housing, a container from which a product is dispensed by advancing a piston, the container shiftably accommodated by the housing and carrying a needle, and a drive unit including a driven member, wherein the driven member is shiftably accommodated by the housing and, during an auto-injection, is adapted for inserting the needle and advancing the container to a predetermined frontal position in relation to the housing and advancing the piston within the container for dispensing of the product, wherein the driven member remains uncoupled with the piston until the container reaches its frontal position, and upon the container reaching its frontal position, the driven member detaches from the container and couples with the piston for advancing the piston within the container.

Automatic injection device

An injection device includes a timing device that is triggered by an injection. After a predetermined period of time, the timing device triggers a sensing device that produces a signal, such as an audible tone. The signal alerts the user that a sufficient amount of time has passed and the injection device can be removed.

Delivery device with a sensing unit

The present invention provides an infusor including a housing, a reservoir accommodated in the housing for containing a product fluid to be administered, and a delivery means accommodated in the housing for an automatic dosed delivery of the product fluid from the reservoir, wherein the reservoir includes at least two separate fluid spaces having separate fluid outlets.

A resettable display of a device for metered administration of a fluid drug, comprising a housing, a fluid container containing the fluid and provided in or on said housing, an actuating device shiftably mounted by a length in or on said housing, which, upon actuation, shifts a piston in the fluid container in order to displace from the fluid container a fluid dose adjusted by the actuating device, a display provided in or on said housing displaying a measure for the adjusted fluid dose, and a resetting means shifted with the actuating device and thus resetting the display. The display comprises a minimum of one counter ring rotated from a zero position when adjusting the fluid dose by means of the actuating device in relation to the housing. The resetting means mechanically transfers the shift movement of the actuating device into a reverse rotary movement of the counter ring towards its zero position (FIG. ).

The invention provides a injection device for administering an injectable product, including a base section adapted to receive a container from which a product dose is dispensed through a needle by displacement of a piston in the container, and a drive unit including a driven member, a drive element and a damping arrangement, the drive unit for applying a force to advance the piston in the container to dispense a dose, wherein the damping arrangement generally counteracts the drive force and counter forces. The invention also encompasses a needle safety sleeve and a blocking structure for use with injection devices.
