A system and method for developing trust in an organization supported tracking system by ensuring that resources in a resource library are collected from trusted sources, and encouraging and tracking participation in organization supported activities designed to achieve a long term goal of the organization. Resources may be submitted by organization members and ranked according to multiple factors including the trustworthiness of the source, the relevance of the resource to the long term goal, or the response of the organization members to the resource. Participation may be encouraged through friendly competition, awards granted for participation, and publication of member accomplishments. Tracking may be facilitated by allowing members to create initiatives and actions related to the long term goal which members may follow and join and then tracking and verifying member participation in those initiatives and actions.

Techniques are described for interacting with a nature inspired virtual environment to present information to the user. The information can be presented to the user by using a collection of icons in the virtual environment. The virtual environment and the collection of icons can resemble a scene from nature. As a result, the additional information is presented to the user without disrupting the visual appearance of the nature inspired virtual environment.

A system is described for providing a virtual environment corresponding to a scene from nature. The virtual environment can be used to present performance metrics to a user. In some examples, the virtual environment can be a pond where performance metrics are represented using lily pads. The visual appearance of the lily pad can be dependent on metadata of the corresponding performance metric and the lily pads can be grouped according to how the performance metrics are grouped in the database.

The graphical user interface includes an overview area displaying at least one user-selected statistic that relates to a user-selected group of interaction center agents being monitored and a detailed area displaying a list of each of the user-selected group of interaction center agents being monitored and further displaying for each of the listed agents at least one user-selected monitored statistic relating to the listed agents.

One implementation provides a method for accessing a window previously viewed by a user in a graphical user interface (GUI) during an interaction with an individual. The method includes displaying to the user a first window in the GUI. The first window contains a collapsible/expandable menu. The menu contains an entry that refers to a window previously viewed by the user. Upon selection of the entry in the menu, the method further includes displaying to the user the corresponding window previously viewed by the user in the GUI. The corresponding window has a data-entry field that contains a latest version of information that is related to the interaction with the individual that was previously entered or modified by the user.

A computer-readable medium containing therein instructions that, when executed, generate on a display device a graphical user interface (GUI) for creating or revising a rule that contains a condition and an action to be taken when the condition is satisfied. The GUI includes a rule-editing area along with first and second user-selectable elements. The rule-editing area is configured to accept user input to create or revise the condition of the rule upon user selection of the first element. The rule-editing area is also configured to accept user input to create or revise the action of the rule upon user selection of the second element. A feedback system for visual content is described that allows individual users to obtain feedback regarding selected visual content. A user of the system uploads any desired visual content, and associates the content with a feedback campaign having user-defined characteristics. The user also may associate feedback elements with the visual content, such as comments regarding the visual content or the type of feedback that is desired. The feedback system provides the visual content and feedback elements to selected other users, perhaps by sending a link to the other users via email. In this way, the receiving users may provide feedback regarding the visual content. In particular, the receiving users may generate a virtual note to be placed on a selected portion of the visual content, so as to provide comment specific to the selected portion. As a result, individual users are enabled to create and manage multiple feedback campaigns.

An improved user interface improves call center agent responsiveness by persistently (i.e., without interruption) displaying key information at fixed locations in an integrated user interface. The integrated user interface may be partitioned into physical areas on the agent's display screen. While some areas of the agent's display screen may rapidly change, at least one area in a reserved location may persistently display a collection of interaction-specific information that the call center agent can view at all times during a call/chat/email session. The user interface persistently displays each piece of key information at a reserved and unchanging physical location on the agent's screen.

One embodiment provides a computer-implemented method for creating a reusable template for use in a text-processing system. In this embodiment, the method includes using a graphical user interface (GUI) to display a representation of a condition of a user-defined rule that may be used to process textual information. The condition includes an attribute name, an operator, and an attribute value. Upon receipt of input from a user via the GUI, the method further includes creating a template that has a condition based upon the condition of the user-defined rule. The condition of the rule template includes the attribute name and the operator from the corresponding condition of the user-defined rule. The condition of the rule template also includes an attribute-value placeholder that is associated with the attribute value from the corresponding condition of the user-defined rule.

A graphical user interface (GUI) tool for maintaining categorization schemes includes a categorization area that displays user-input fields which may be used to define a number of categories and a number of links that form a categorization scheme. The categorization scheme is organized to enable the computer-executed process to categorize the data. The categorization causes the selection of categories that correspond to the data. The selection is made by making a category determination beginning at the top level and proceeding to the children of categories that correspond to the data.

One implementation provides presenting, on an interaction center agent display device, a single user interface panel having, firstly, a work area that displays information pertaining to a particular customer with whom an interaction center agent is interacting, and secondly, a common message area for displaying electronic messages to be viewed by one or more interaction center agents.
