Provided are processes of applying a decorative imaging to a substrate that includes providing a stamp pad comprising a child and environmentally friendly disperse dye composition, inking a stamp with the disperse dye composition, optionally transferring the disperse dye composition from the stamp to an intermediate ink receptive surface using the rubber stamp to thereby place an image on an intermediate ink receptive surface, and transferring the image to a dye receptive object by application of sufficient heat and pressure. The disperse dye compositions provided herein are safe, environmentally friendly, and able to be used in stamp pad imaging processes.

Dye sublimation ink composition and processes for use with stamp pads

Provided are toners and combinations of toners that demonstrate excellent color and are Ames test negative in bothstrains TA98 and TAIOO.

Ames negative sublimation toner

Provided are a child and environmentally friendly aqueous based heat transfer disperse dye ink compositions suitable for placing an image on an object and processes of their use. The compositions may include a heat transfer disperse dye and a nonsublimable dye or pigment having a hue representative of the hue of the disperse dye when heat transferred onto a substrate, with either or both of the dyes or pigments having a particle size less than 350 nm, and wherein the ink composition may have a viscosity less than 10 cps at room temperature. A process that uses the ink compositions optionally include marking an intermediate substrate, drying the image, optionally heating the intermediate substrate, optionally placing the inked intermediate substrate in contact with a dye receptive surface of a receptive object, and optionally transferring the image to the receptive object by application of sufficient heat and pressure.

Decorative imaging process using fibrous nib markers with specific disperse dye compositions

Provided are processes of placing an image on an object that includes optionally filling a hand held nib-based marker with a child and environmentally friendly aqueous based heat transfer disperse dye ink composition, and imaging an intermediate substrate with the marker. A process optionally further includes optionally drying the image, optionally heating the intermediate substrate, optionally placing the inked intermediate substrate in contact with a dye receptive surface of a receptive object, and optionally transferring the image to the receptive object by application of sufficient heat and pressure.

Polyketone based polymer sheets are employed in thermal dye transfer processes to produce permanent images. Also disclosed is the use of the process to produce identification cards, security cards and labels.

Process for printing secure images

A composite charge control agent for use in electrostatic imaging comprises porous, inorganic core particles of at least 0.08 microns in diameter, impregnated with 2% to 50% by weight of one or more charge control chemicals and up to 50% by weight of one or more additional compounds such as a polymer, a wax, a dye, or other organic chemicals.
