A spool valve possesses a longitudinally divided valve housing, in the case of which housing parts are assembled with longitudinal sides fitted together. In the wall of the valve housing valve ducts are provided. In order to enable simplification of the manufacture of such valve housings at least part of the length of a valve duct extends in the parting interface of the valve housing. In this respect the wall of the valve duct is made up of complementary peripheral wall portion, which are provided at the housing parts adjacent to each other in the parting interface.

Spool valve

A valve whose housing has valve spool receiving means arranged in it so that the spool is able to move between two switching positions reciprocatingly and is able to connect valve ducts in the housing with each other for the passage of fluid. For this purpose it has window-like transversely extending passages, through which the fluid may flow between two valve ducts. While offering a low resistance to flow the valve design leads to large orifices. Special means are provided for sealing and the control of frictional forces during operation.

Spool valve having improved sealing characteristics

The dynamic pressure filter is constructed with a plurality of coaxially disposed rotor sectors and stator sectors. Filter surfaces are mounted on each of the sectors to define annular filter chambers for receiving a suspension to be filtered under pressure. In addition, vortex breakers are provided at the downstream end of each filter chamber for destroying the flow structure of the suspension prior to flow into the downstream filter chamber.
