A method for controlling an automatic transmission of a vehicle includes detecting a deceleration of the vehicle; detecting a cornering value of the vehicle; determining, as a function of the deceleration and as a function of the cornering value, a compensated shift-down point of a rotational speed at which shifting into a relatively low gear of the transmission occurs; and selecting a gear as a function of the compensated shift-down point.

A method for shifting a semi-automatic powershift transmission used in a motor vehicle during a manually triggered traction upshift involves the shift phases of the charging of an actuator of a clutch to be engaged, an overlap of the charging of the actuator of the clutch to be engaged and the emptying of an actuator of a clutch to be disengaged, and also involves an engine rotational speed alignment. The charging, the overlap and the engine rotational speed alignment are carried out simultaneously. In the shift process during a manually triggered shift, the driver perceives a change in engine rotational speed with only a minimal delay after the shift command.

Method for shifting a semi-automatic powershift transmission

In a method for outputting information to the driver of a vehicle, the degree of deviation of a current operating point or value of an operating parameter of a drive unit and/or of a drive train of the vehicle from a predetermined range and/or a preferred range for entry to a coasting phase is indicated to the driver.

A method controls an automated dual clutch transmission of a motor vehicle. An actuating device, preferably arranged in the region of a steering wheel, for selecting the gear step of the shift transmission, which actuating device has a first and a second actuating element which, when actuated individually, cause an upshift or downshift of the shift transmission and, when actuated simultaneously, transfer the shift transmission into an idling state. When both actuating elements are actuated simultaneously, the force-transmitting clutch remains closed and consequently the selected gear remains engaged, and at the same time a clutch torque and/or an engine torque and, consequently, a drive torque acting on a driven wheel is reduced to approximately 0 Nm. It is thereby possible to tie up the force transmission again especially quickly after the termination of the idling state.

Method for controlling an automated dual clutch transmission

A method and device are provided for limiting, in a first operating condition, a motor vehicle internal-combustion engine torque. The operating condition, resulting from an operation of a motor vehicle brake, when the engine torque is simultaneously demanded by a driver's intention indicator, differs from a second operating condition, in which the brake is not operated. The limiting takes place at least partially by way of a controlled reduction of an advance angle efficiency in the first operating condition in comparison to the second operating condition.
