The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of homopolyamide-4,6 fibers by melt spinning of homopolyamide-4,6, to fibers and multifilament yarns obtainable by the process and the use thereof for the reinforcement of rubber like in tire cords, V-belts etc. The invention further relates to a novel homopolyamide-4,6, a process for the manufacture thereof and the use of the new homopolyamide-4,6 for the manufacture of fibers, films and injection molded articles. The homopolyamide-4,6 fiber is manufactured by melt spinning of homopolyamide-4,6 having nascent morphology with a melting enthalpy of at least 140 J/g and a main melting temperature between 290 and 305&#xb0; C.

Process for the manufacture of homopolyamide-4,6 fibers

The invention relates to a composition and article for reducing food deposit adhesion to cookware. More specifically this invention relates to a resin composition comprising a polysulfone or polyethersulfone resin having a glass transition temperature of at least 180&#xb0; C., a fluorinated polyolefin, and a fatty acid amide. The invention also relates to an article comprising the composition.

Composition and article for reduced food adhesion

The invention relates to a composition and article for reducing food deposit adhesion to cookware. More specifically this invention relates to a resin composition comprising a polysulfone or polyethersulfone resin having a glass transition temperature of at least 180&deg; C., a fluorinated polyolefin, and an anionic surfactant. The invention also relates to an article comprising the composition.

A molding composition comprising (a) from 10 to 90 weight percent of a polyester resin; (b) from 90 to 10 weight percent of an aromatic polycarbonate, polyarylate, polyester carbonate resin or blend thereof; and (c) a flow improving amount of lignin and/or a compound having a phosphonium sulfonate group.

Compositions for reduced food adhesion

The present invention is a high performance thermoplastic polymer composition that comprises a thermoplastic polymer resin such as polyetherimide, polyethersulfone, etc., and an additive formulated to improve the overall melt flow properties of the final composition. The additive can be a phosphonium sulfonate or an anhydride. The final composition has improved melt flow qualities with no significant depreciation in other desirable characteristics.
