Methods and systems are provided for use in selectable data transmission. In a portable mobile computing device, a request to initiate an instant video communication with a remote portable multi-function computing device may be received, and in response to receiving the request to initiate the instant video communication, it may be determined, based on a stored authorization list, that the instant video communication connection to the remote portable multi-function computing device is authorized, and In response to such determining, stored connection information for the remote portable multi-function computing device may be accessed, and captured video communication data for the requested instant video communication may be transmitted according to the stored instant connection information such that the captured video communication data may be displayed at the remote portable multi-function computing device as it is received.

Process and system for selectable data transmission

Methods and systems are provided for selectable data transmissions. A user profile may be maintained, with the user profile including a list of authorized remote mobile computing devices and respective connection information for video communication, with the plurality of authorized remote mobile computing devices being authorized for video communication, and other remote mobile computing devices not being authorized for video communication. When a request to initiate video communication with a particular remote mobile computing device is received, a determination may be made, based on the user profile, that the particular remote mobile computing device is authorized. Respective connection information for the particular remote mobile computing device then may be assessed, and captured video communication data may be transmitted for the requested video communication according to the user profile such that the captured video communication data may be displayed at the particular remote mobile computing device as it is received.

In a method and a system for data transmission, authentication data and an electronic key may be generated, with the electronic key being stored as assigned to the authentication data. Data may be encrypted, such as by a central communications device, into encrypted data, using at least part of the electronic key. Based on reception of the authentication data from a communications terminal, at least a portion of the electronic key and the encrypted data may be transmitted from the central communications device to the communications terminal.

Process and system for data transmission

The present invention relates to a process and a system for data transmission. Authentication data and an electronic key are generated, whereby the electronic key is stored as assigned to the authentication data. At least part of the electronic key is transmitted by means of an authentication module of the central module to a communications terminal. Asynchronously to that, data are encrypted into encrypted data by means of an encryption module and by means of at least part of the electronic key. The encrypted data are transmitted between a central module and a communications terminal. The encrypted data are decrypted by means of a decryption module and by means of at least part of the electronic key.

Methods and systems are provided for selectable data transmissions. An electronic key may be assigned to authenticated data associated with a particular user, electronic data may be encrypted, using at least part of the electronic key, to generate encrypted data, and a program code that must be executed to decrypt the encrypted data may be incorporating into the encrypted data. The encrypted data may be transmitted to a communications terminal identified by the user, and at least part of the electronic key may be transmitted to the communications terminal to cause decrypting the encrypted data using the at least part of the electronic key. The program code may be configured to cause checking one or more validation criteria associated with the encrypted data, at the communications terminal, during execution of the program code.

Methods and devices for data transmission may comprise a computer system comprising: a reception module configured to receive and store condition data assigned to data elements of a data delivery unit; a context checking module configured to check whether a second mobile communication terminal, external to the computer system, satisfies one or more conditions defined by the condition data; and a data transmission module configured to trigger transmission of context-specific data elements from the computer system via the mobile radio network to the first mobile communication terminal. The computer system may be configured to obtain, from a networking unit of the mobile radio network, current attribute data associated with the second mobile communication terminal, and the context checking module may be configured to check, based on these current attribute data and respective condition data, whether the second mobile communication terminal satisfies the conditions.

Method and/or system for use in selectable data transmission. An electronic key may be generated (e.g., by a central module) and stored as assigned to authentication data. Electronic data may then be encrypted (e.g., by the central module) into encrypted data using at least part of the electronic key. A signaling message may be transmitted (e.g., by the central module) to a first communications terminal, and the encrypted data may then be transmitted (e.g., by the central module) to a second communications terminal that is selected by the first communications terminal. The present invention relates to a process and a system for selectable data transmission. A method and a system for data transmission with mobile network nodes, which include at least two network interfaces with corresponding power consumption. A central unit is configured to receive data intended for the mobile network, and a first network interface of the mobile network node is deactivated. If the central unit receives data intended for themobile network node, a signaling message assigned to the received data is transmitted to the mobile network node, by a signaling module, via a second network interface of the mobile network node. Based on the transmitted signaling message, the first network interface of the mobile network node is activated, and data, which are intended for the mobile network node, are transmitted via the first network interface to the mobile network node.

Method and system for transmitting data in mobile network nodes

The invention relates to a method for a communication node with a plurality of network interfaces. Configured on the communication node is a virtual interface, which is accessible from the applications able to be executed on the communication node. A configuration module generates an identifier assigned to the communication node. The identifier is stored in an identifier table. The configuration module checks the communication node for available network interfaces and sets up a network interface table with the available network interfaces. At least one IP address of an available network interface is stored in the identifier table in a way assigned to the identifier, and a connection module connects at least one of the available network interfaces to the virtual interface.
