A subsea flowline jumper connector includes at least one electronic connector deployed thereon. The sensor may provide data indicative of the connector state during installation and production operations.

Instrumented subsea flowline jumper connector

A subsea tool assembly includes a subsea tool and a subsea drive module connected to and configured to provide drive power to the subsea tool. The subsea drive module includes a housing configured for operation in a subsea environment, an electrical motor deployed in the housing, and an electrical power supply deployed in the housing. The electrical motor is configured to rotate a magnetic coupling which is sized and shaped to magnetically engage a corresponding magnetic coupling in the subsea tool. The electrical power supply is electrically connected to and configured to provide electrical power to the motor. Rotation of the magnetic coupling rotates the corresponding magnetic coupling in the subsea tool thereby providing drive power to the subsea tool.

Portable all-electric subsea drive module

A method of attaching an air duct to a recuperator core may include welding a pair of butterpasses along a length of each of a plurality of core portions, connecting the plurality of core portions to one another to form the recuperator core and a pair of butterpasses extending along a length of the recuperator core, and attaching the air duct to the recuperator core along at least a portion of the pair of butterpasses. The method may also include controllably moving a welding torch into the air duct and along substantially the length of the recuperator core and controllably welding each butterpass to the air duct along substantially the length of the recuperator core without adding metal to the weld.
