A collector of a heat exchanger for a vehicle, which collector has numerous recesses for projections on a tube sheet that are pressed into the recesses as part of a crimp connection, and wherein the recesses have at least one platform which is spaced apart from at least one edge of the recess in such a way that a free space is created. A heat exchanger for a vehicle, which heat exchanger has a tube sheet with projections that adjoin openings and are pressed into recesses of a collector, and wherein at least one opening edge, which is adjacent to an opening edge that is directly adjacent to the projection, is bent out of the plane of the opening.

A system for connecting housing elements of a device for heat transfer having a housing with a first housing element and a second housing element which are connectable with one another with face sides oriented toward one another and via a connection under form closure. Housing elements are herein in contact on another with side margins developed in proximity of front faces. The first latching elements are implemented as recesses each with a flat surface oriented in parallel to front face. On an outer side of side margin of first housing element between each first latching element and front face, a shaping is developed protruding from side margin, which comprises on a side facing first latching element a flat surface disposed in the plane spanned by flat surface of first latching element. Flat surfaces of first latching element and the shaping form a contiguous bearing area for second latching element.

A method for manufacturing a heat exchanger, wherein a firmly bonded connection is provided between tubes and ribs in order to form a radiator matrix, the connection provided by aligning and inserting tube ends into openings in a first and second collector in order to connect tubes to the two collectors, and a wall section of shaped tube ends is bent so that the tube ends are fixed against the collector through the wall section with interpositioning of a seal.

The present invention relates to the heat exchangerof refrigerant circuitry of an air-conditioning system for a vehicle, which enables a bidirectional pass flow. The air-conditioning system is configured to perform a combined operation of cooling device mode and heat pump mode, the heat exchangeris formed in the form of a multi-pass, and the flow direction of a refrigerant varies depending on operation mode. The first heat exchangerformed in the form of a multi-pass includes header pipesand, flow paths assigned to respective passes, and means configured to partition an internal volume space of one or more header pipesandinto independent regions. A first pass of the heat exchangerhas a greater flow cross section and greater heat exchange surface than the last pass.
