A sensor controlled system includes a ramp docking sensor mountable to a vehicle's rear end and configured to fulfill the functions required for assisting docking of a vehicle to a loading ramp. The ramp docking sensor is further configured to determine a vertical distance of the ramp docking sensor relative to a ground level and to determine a vertical distance between the ground level and a loading ramp sill of the loading ramp. In this system, the ramp docking sensor can also be utilized for height-detection of a cargo hold floor with respect to a ground level without requiring specified sensors for height adjustments.

Sensor controlled system, vehicle and method

A pressure control valve includes an upper body, a lower body affixed to the upper body, a supply passage in the upper body, a delivery passage in the upper body, an exhaust passage in the lower body and a pivotable member positioned between the supply passage and the delivery passage. The pivotable member has a generally curved body, a first leg, a second leg and a third leg extending from the body. The pivotable member pivots on the second leg and the third leg in response to air pressure in the supply passage being less than the air pressure in the delivery passage. The positioning of the pivotable member restricts air from flowing from the delivery passage to the supply passage, thereby opening a path for the air to pass to the exhaust passage.

Pressure control valve

A diaphragm valve (DV), includes: an elastomer-diaphragm (ED) in/on a valve-housing via a radially-outer-edge-bead and interacts with a DV-seat (DVS); a first-control-chamber (CC), delimited by a first-surface, facing away from the DVS, of the ED and loadable and relieved of load by a pressure-medium (PM), and when the first-CC is loaded, the ED is pushed against the DVS; a second-CC, delimited by a second-surface, facing away from the first-surface, of the ED and loadable and relieved of load and surrounds the DVS, and, when the second-CC is loaded by PM, the ED lifts off from the DVS and the second-CC is connected to a PM-flow-channel (FC), on which the DVS is formed at an end-side; and the PM-FC, DVS, ED are coaxial as to an axial-direction, and the smallest thickness of the ED's central-region, as to a radial-direction perpendicular to the axial-direction, is at least 30% of the PM-FC's inner-diameter.

Also described is a pressure-medium-conducting device of a vehicle, including: at least one housing having at least one housing component, wherein the housing component includes: at least one connector bore having an internal thread for screwing-in a connector element having an external thread for feeding and/or discharging the pressure medium to/from the apparatus; in which a material of the housing component is composed, at least in a region of the connector bore, of a thermoplastic of PPA (polyphthalamide).

A pressure control valve arrangement for controlling fluid pressure in a brake system of a vehicle includes two diaphragm valves and two electromagnetic control valves, activatable by an electronic control device, for the pilot control of the diaphragm valves. The two electromagnetic control valves have a double magnet with two magnet coils and magnet armatures and are actuatable by current being applied to the magnet coils. The housing has at least one pressure medium connection, connected to a service brake valve, for acting with pressure upon and/or relieving the pressure of the pressure control valve arrangement and at least one connection for connecting to a brake cylinder. A plane of symmetry of the mid-axes of the magnet coils of the double magnet is arranged in parallel and offset by the amount of an eccentricity, with respect to a mid-axis of the pressure medium connection.

A ventilation or check valve for ventilation or outlet openings of compressed air apparatuses of vehicles, includes at least one diaphragm disk which is made from flexible material, is held with a central region in a bore of a valve housing and is prestressed with a radially outer region against a valve seat on the valve housing, to lift up from the valve seat in a pressure-induced manner in the case of a pressure gradient between an inlet space and an outlet space or atmosphere and to open a flow cross section between the inlet space and the outlet space or atmosphere, in which, as viewed in the circumferential direction of the diaphragm disk, a plurality of hold-downs which are arranged at a circumferential spacing from one another and hold down the radially outer region of the diaphragm disk locally against the valve seat are provided on the valve housing.

A pressure control valve arrangement is described for controlling a fluid pressure in an ABS brake system of a vehicle such that, in the event of a tendency of individual wheels of the vehicle to lock, the brake pressure in at least one associated brake cylinder can be adaptively adjusted, including: a housing in which is formed at least one pressure-medium-conducting pressure medium duct and in which is provided a diversion of the flow of the pressure medium within the pressure medium duct from a portion of the pressure medium duct leading in one direction into a portion of the pressure medium duct leading in another direction, in which the pressure medium duct is produced together with the housing by primary forming, and in which the cross section of the pressure medium duct is oval and the major dimension of the oval cross section and the central axis of the pressure medium duct are arranged in a common plane, and the minor dimension of the oval cross section is perpendicular to the plane.

A pressure control valve arrangement is described for controlling the fluid pressure in an ABS brake system of a vehicle in such a way that, while there is a tendency of individual wheels of the vehicle to lock, the brake pressure in at least one associated brake cylinder can be adaptively adjusted, wherein at least one diaphragm valve is accommodated in a housing of the pressure control valve arrangement, said diaphragm valve having a diaphragm as the valve body, which diaphragm can be acted upon by introducing a pressure medium into a control chamber that is covered on the outside of the housing by a respective cover produced by primary shaping, such as injection molding, in such a way that the control chamber is formed between the diaphragm and the cover, and wherein blind holes, which extend in the cover substantially perpendicularly to the plane of the cover, are formed in the cover, the blind hole opening of at least one of said blind holes leading into the control chamber, and the blind hole opening of at least one other of said blind holes leading into a pressure medium channel formed in the housing, and at least one and the other of said blind holes being fluidically interconnected by at least one transverse channel, characterized in that the transverse channel has an acute angle relative to the plane of the cover and opens at one end, by a transverse channel opening, into the control chamber or into the pressure medium channel, wherein the transverse channel opening at least partially overlaps the blind hole opening of one of the blind holes connected by the transverse channel.
