An adjusting device for headlights, in particular for truck headlights, comprising a linear drive unit containing a threaded rod mounted for rotation, in threaded engagement with a control element, which control element can be moved in the axial direction of the threaded rod by turning the threaded rod, a pivot lever which has an articulated connection to the actuator, and an engagement element of the pivot lever which can act on the lighting unit to be adjusted, wherein the articulated connection is formed by a bearing part of the pivot lever and by a supporting part of the actuator such that the pivot lever can be turned about a horizontal pivot axis extending through the articulated connection, such that the engagement element is arranged in an upper region of the pivot lever in the vertical direction, and such that the articulated connection is arranged in a lower region of the pivot lever in the vertical direction.

Adjusting device for headlights

A headlight for vehicles, in particular trucks, comprising a lighting unit which is pivotably mounted about a pivot axis; a linear drive unit which contains a linearly movable actuator; and a pivoting lever which is coupled to a lighting unit at a first end and to the actuator at a second end, wherein the lighting unit is pivotable by means of the actuator. The pivoting lever is designed in multiple parts, comprising a lower pivoting lever element having a support part for supporting on the actuator and an upper pivoting lever element on which a horizontal axis is arranged, the pivoting lever being pivotably mounted about said axis.

A lighting apparatus for motor vehicles is provided that includes a plurality of chambers having at least one light source each and being formed by one light unit each, and a baffle frame with a plurality of openings each being dedicated to the light units, whereby the lighting apparatus is formed of segments comprising a plurality of light modules, which are mounted to an area of a rear side of the baffle frame, at least one cover pane, which is mounted to a front side of the baffle frame, whereby the rear side of the baffle frame is formed such that it conforms to connect to a front housing rim of the light module.
