A conductor contact is provided having a sleeve () with an opening adapted to receive a free end () of a conductor. A contact tip () with an opening () is adapted to receive the sleeve (), where the sleeve () has a tapered outer surface () on a compressible section surrounding the opening. The contact tip () has a tapered surface inside the opening adapted to compress the compressible section of the sleeve when thecontact tip surrounds the sleeve (), and an outer smooth surface ().

Conductor contact tip

A method for terminating a cable () having at least one strength member (). The method includes the steps of providing a cable termination comprising at least one termination chamber () for accommodating an end section of the strength member () and arranging and fastening an anchoring sleeve () around at least parts of the end section. The method further includes introducing the end section into the termination chamber () and fastening the end section by curing a polymer resin in the termination chamber () as well as a termination suitable for the method.

Termination of strength members of deep water cables

A power cable () includes an outer sheath (), at least one conductor element () arranged within the outer sheath and one or more filler elements () arranged within the outer sheath. At least one of the filler elements is hollow such that a cooling fluid can be passed through the filler element.

External protection for direct electric heating cable

A connector assembly for connecting and/or disconnecting an electric power cable () to/from a subsea pipeline () includes a female cone element (), a complementary male cone element (), and bolt tightening means (). Connector assembly

An elongated object for use in subsea having a heating pipe and an electrical cable fixed to the surface of the heating pipe. The electrical cable has a protective sleeving for surrounding the electrical cable, composed of a series of elongated synthetic plastics components arranged end-to-end. Each component is an extruded frame work type hollow profile suitable for slowing down the impact over a long deformation path. A hollow space is disposed between the electrical cable and the protective sleeving allowing the cable to move into the protective sleeving.

Protection profile for subsea cables
