A distribution device for granular material having: a distributor housing which has a material inlet opening for the granular material; at least one conveying air duct, situated in the distributor housing, for a material-free conveying air flow, the conveying air duct being connected within the distributor housing to a grain-holding region within which the granular material entering the distributor housing via the material inlet opening can be introduced into the material-free conveying air flow; one or more material flow lines, which adjoin the grain-holding region, for the conveying air flow laden with granular material; and at least one additional air duct, which is situated in the distributor housing for a material-free additional air flow, which can be introduced into the one or more material flow lines via at least one additional air inlet.

Distribution device for granular material

A sowing machine and a method for separating and spreading granular material, such as seed or the like, are described, where the material is supplied by way of conveying airflows from a central container to metering devices via conveying ducts respectively associated with them. Furthermore, the material supplied in the conveying ducts is separated from the respective conveying airflow and the resulting discharge airflows are supplied via discharge air ducts to the respectively associated metering devices which are thus pressurized. Furthermore, the metering chambers are pressurized by way of supply airflows via supply ducts respectively associated with the former. The material is separated in the metering chambers by way of separating disks.

Sowing machine and method for separating and spreading granular material

A material introduction lock for a distribution machine for pneumatically conveying granular material in a conveying line adjoining a material introduction lock includes: an air inlet, a material conveying element, and a material infeed element, where a pneumatic conveying flow is supplied to the material conveying element via the air inlet, and the material infeed element is arranged between the material conveying element and the conveying line so that the granular material in the conveying line supplied via the material infeed element is conveyed in the conveying line by the pneumatic conveying flow supplied by the material conveying element. Further, the material infeed element includes a rinsing nozzle element which is connected to the air inlet and creates a film of air that sheathes the material infeed element from the inside, and the rinsing nozzle element is configured to reduce contact between the granular material and the material infeed element.
