Staple gun for driving staples into a workpiece includes a frame with a driver conveyable upward and downward. In the downward movement, the driver executes a drive stroke driving the staple. In the upward movement, an activation member conveys the driver to a highest height and releases the driver to execute the drive stroke. An elongated elastic member has a first end coupled to the driver and a second end to a bearing pin assigned to the frame. A first breakpoint pin is placed between the bearing pin and the driver at a first distance from the bearing pin, and a second breakpoint pin between the driver and the first breakpoint pin is arranged at a second distance from the bearing pin and is movable between first and second positions disengaging and engaging the elastic member, respectively. The first distance is related to the highest height as 1.6-2.0:1.

Stapler () for driving staples () into a workpiece (), comprising a body (), an elastic member () connected to a driver () and an articulated arrangement () for tensioning of the member () comprising a lever () with a long arm () and a short arm () coupled rotatably to the body by a first coupling shaft (), an articulated arm () coupled rotatably to the body by a second coupling shaft () and connected to the member () in a force-influencing manner, an intermediate joint () with a third coupling shaft () assigned rotatably to the short arm () at a first distance (a) from the first coupling shaft and assigned rotatably to the articulated arm () with a fourth coupling shaft () at a second distance (b) from the third coupling shaft (), the first distance has the distance line (a) and the second distance has the distance line (&#x3b2;), which form the angle (&#x3b3;) between themselves, the member () is tensioned in that the lever () is rotated (N) about coupling shaft () from a starting position to an end position, due to which the lever via the intermediate joint causes the articulated arm to rotate (R) about the coupling shaft and tension the member () by guiding this from a first neutral untensioned position to a second tensioned position, wherein the first distance (a) is 1.2-1.6 times greater than the second distance (b).

Stapler () comprising a body () and a magazine () which in its rear portion is connected pivotably via a connecting pin () to said body in such a way that said magazine in its forward portion can be moved in a direction (P) into and out of the body, the body () having integral bushings () which have connecting surfaces () whose longitudinal extent (D) is greater than the thickness (T) of the body material.

Hammer tacker

A hammer tacker (), which is used to drive staples () into a work piece (), comprises a handle () and a magazine (). The magazine includes a magazine house () and a magazine rail () which rail is connected to the magazine in such a way that it in its front end () can be moved in to and out of (P) the magazine house. Staples stored in the magazine are fed, by a feeding device () arranged in the magazine, to an outlet opening () in the front end of the magazine. A driver blade () housed in the magazine and constituting part of a driver () drives the staple fed to the outlet opening into the work piece. The driver () is attached to the magazine () on the magazine's outer side () to facilitate changing the driver blade.

Hammer tacker () for driving staples () into a workpiece, which tacker comprises a body () and a magazine () which is pivotably connected by connecting element () to the body in such a way that at the front edge of the tacker the magazine can move into and out of the body, and which magazine is provided with an endpiece () containing an elongate staple rail () which in the longitudinal direction of the magazine is slidably fitted to the magazine and is secured to the magazine by securing elements () and which, when fitted, leaves a gap () between its front edge () and the tacker's front edge (), whereby the securing elements () take the form of a hook () integral with the staple rail/magazine () and an aperture () on the magazine/staple rail () and lockingly engage with one another when the staple strip is fitted to the magazine.
