Methods and devices for supporting charging relating to a group transmission in a wireless communication network. The group transmission involving a group of wireless devices configured to, via one or more direct communication links between each other, participate in transmission of user data between a source wireless device and the network. It is obtained, for each one of wireless devices of the group, a data amount indicator indicating how much data the wireless device has been involved in transmitting as part of the group transmission. It is provided one or more reports based on the obtained data amount indicators to one or more core network nodes.

Transmission in a wireless communication network

A method and a User Equipment, UE, for handling multiple Bandwidth Parts, BWPs, when being connected to a wireless network. The UE is configured to obtain from the network a configuration for use when autonomously switching from a source BWP to a target BWP, said configuration indicating one or more transmissions that the UE can start in the target BWP during a BWP switch. When detecting that the UE is subjected to a trigger event in the source BWP, wherein the trigger event triggers an autonomous BWP switch, the UE transmits to the network in the target BWP a BWP switch request, and the UE also performs at least one further transmission indicated by the obtained configuration.

Method and user equipment for communication with a wireless network for handling multiple bandwidth parts, BWP

A network node, a wireless communication device and methods therein for monitoring interferences between a number of groups of wireless communication devices and configuring SL resources for the number of groups of wireless communication devices in a wireless communication network are disclosed. The network node configures a discovery signal associated with an identity and configures which wireless communication devices in which groups to transmit and/or receive the configured discovery signal. The network node determines whether the number of groups of wireless communication devices () are isolated from each other based on a report related to the discovery signal and decides whether or not to reconfigure the SL resources for the number of groups or rearrange the wireless communication devices in the groups based on the determined result on whether the number of groups of wireless communication devices () are isolated from each other.

Network node, wireless communication device and methods for configuring side-link resources in wireless communication network

The present disclosure relates to telecommunications. In one of its aspects, the disclosure concerns a method in a coordinator User Equipment (UE) for registering a group of UEs to a wireless communications system. The coordinator UE represents the group of UEs. The method comprises transmitting, to a Radio Access Network (RAN) node, a message comprising a group IDentity (ID) to initiate an authentication and security procedure to register the group of UEs to the wireless communications system. The group ID identifies the group of UEs.

Apparatuses and methods for registering a group of user equipment

Embodiments include methods, performed by a user equipment (UE), for uplink (UL) transmission on a shared channel in a cell of a radio access network (RAN). Such methods include determining that the shared channel is unavailable for UL transmission of pending data during a first transmission opportunity. This determination can be based on performing a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure on the shared channel. Such methods include determining that further data for UL transmission is available before a second transmission opportunity that is after the first transmission opportunity, and determining whether the pending data or the further data should be prioritized for UL transmission during the second transmission opportunity. This prioritization determination can be based on various factors. Such methods can also include transmitting the pending data or the further data, during the second transmission opportunity, based on the prioritization determination. Other embodiments include UEs configured to perform such methods.

Collision handling of configured grant based autonomous uplink transmissions

A method performed by a wireless device for determining an identity of the wireless device, MsgB RNTI, in a wireless communications network during a random access procedure is provided. The wireless device transmits a random access preamble on a RACH at a random access occasion. It also transmits a message on a PUSCH that corresponds to the random access preamble. Further, the wireless device determines an MsgB RNTI as the sum of a first identity, RA-RNTI, and an offset that is an integer greater than 1, wherein the RA-RNTI is based on a sum comprising terms corresponding to at least the index of a first OFDM symbol, the index of a frequency resource, and the index of a first time slot that identifies the time/frequency resources of the random access occasion.

Wireless device, a network node, and methods therein for determining an identity of a wireless device during a random access procedure

Buffer Status Reports (BSR), by which the network is made aware of uplink transmission needs of wirless devices, are specifically enabled to be transmitted using 2-step Random Access (RA), to reduce latency and network resource use. In one embodiment, 2-step RA configurations tailored to BSR-transmissions are introduced. These may, for example, use a subset of the configured resources in the configured 2-step RA resources for BSR. In another embodiment, conditions for triggering BSR over 2-step RA, depending on the traffic, are introduced. For example, the priority or the the delay budget of the traffic may be used to determine whether a BSR over 2-step RA should be triggered. In another embodiment, simplified procedures when receiving the response to MsgA are introduced. These may include, for example, not transmitting a full MsgB, but rather having the UE receive an UL grant.

Efficient buffer status reporting over 2-step RA

The present disclosure relates to telecommunications. In one of its aspects, the disclosure concerns a method in a source User Equipment (UE) for group transmissions in a wireless communications system comprising a group of UEs, including the source UE. The group is assigned a first group IDentity (ID). The source UE has data to be cooperatively transmitted by the group of UEs in a group transmission to a Radio Access Network (RAN) node. The method comprises transmitting, to the group of UEs, a SideLink (SL) message. The SL message comprises the data to be transmitted to the RAN node, a source UE ID identifying the source UE, the first group ID identifying the group of UEs receiving the data and an indicator indicating that the data comprised in the SL message is to be transmitted cooperatively by the group of UEs in a group transmission to the RAN node.

A wireless device is configured for use in a wireless communication network. The wireless device obtains a configuration that governs how the wireless device is to monitor for and/or attempt to recover from consistent uplink listen-before-talk (LBT) failure that occurs during a mobility procedure triggered by the wireless device.
