An accommodative intraocular lens includes a first lens part, a haptic, and a flexible membrane. The flexible membrane is arranged adjacent to a distal optical body surface, delimits a cavity together with the distal optical body surface and is transparent to light. A second lens part has a hollow cylinder coupled releasably to the first lens part, as a result of which the intraocular lens can be brought into a coupling state in which the second lens part is arranged on a distal side of the first lens part and the hollow cylinder is configured to deform the membrane by a longitudinal displacement of the hollow cylinder parallel to the optical axis. The hollow cylinder has on its exterior an outer face and a bearing face arranged adjacent to a proximal end of the outer face and encloses, with the outer face, an angle of less than 180°.

Accommodative intraocular lens

An accommodative intraocular lens is for insertion in the capsular bag of an eye. The accommodative intraocular lens has a first lens part, including a first membrane and an optical axis, and a second lens part which can be detachably coupled to the first lens part, whereby the intraocular lens can be transferred to a coupled state.

An accommodative intraocular lens for implantation in an eye within a natural capsular bag includes a first lens part with an optical body transparent to light and defining an optical axis, front and rear optical body surfaces, haptics connected permanently to the optical body and designed to come into engagement with the capsular bag, a flexible membrane connected permanently to the haptics or the optical body, the membrane having a center axis which runs congruently or parallel to the optical axis and is transparent to light, and a second lens part with a hollow cylinder which can be positioned with a proximal end on the front membrane surface of the first lens part such that the hollow cylinder and the membrane can be displaced along the optical axis towards the front optical body surface and thus the rear membrane surface undergoes a change in the radius of curvature thereof.

Provided is an eye implant having a lens sheath which is embodied for insertion in a capsular bag of an eye, is elastic, delimits a cavity in its interior and has a through hole via which the cavity is accessible from outside of the lens sheath, a plurality of reservoirs which are fastened to the lens sheath, project from the lens sheath to the outside, have an adhesive in their interior and are embodied to dispense the adhesive when pressed against the capsular bag, and at least two adapters which are fastened to the lens sheath, project from the lens sheath into the interior, and are embodied to engage with a respective haptic of an accommodative intraocular lens.

The invention relates to a ring illumination device () for a microscope objective (), and a microscope objective () provided with such a ring illumination device (). The ring illumination device () has at least two LED units () which are accommodated in an illumination ring () which can be connected to the microscope objective (). According to the invention, the ring illumination device () has at least one lower entrance opening () and at least one upper outlet opening () for cooling air, for cooling the LED units ().

Imaging optics for optical devices, with which reflections of the illumination light, which is guided through the same optical elements as the observation light, are kept from reaching the observation pupil of the imaging beam path. The non-reflective imaging optics include at least two refractive optical elements, which are utilized for illumination as well as observation. The at least two refractive optical elements are designed approximately wedge-shaped and are tilted at a random azimuth angle of at least 5&#xb0; and/or are positioned off-center in the beam path to block out the single reflections of the illumination, occurring at the optical system surfaces, for the observation. The imaging optics are for optical devices, particularly in ophthalmology thought the invention is applicable to other ophthalmological devices as well as to optical devices outside of this field.

Non-reflective imaging optics for optical devices, particularly in opthalmology

The invention is directed to an optical system for a fundus camera for reflection-free opthalmoscopy having a beam path with refractive and reflective optical elements which are used substantially in common for illumination and observation or recording. An imaging mirror system substantially comprising a plurality of reflecting optical elements in the form of mirrors and is provided for illuminating and imaging the fundus. At least one optical element, for example, mirror, is formed as a freeform mirror with an imaging, reflecting freeform surface. The optical elements are arranged in a housing in a precisely defined position and attitude relative to one another in such a way that an imaging of the reflecting surfaces of the optical elements on the image of the imaged retina is prevented within a wide diopter range of the patient's eye to be examined.

Optical system for a fundus camera

A camera adapter for optical devices, in particular microscopes. The present solution includes a camera adapter which enables any video cameras and photographic cameras to connect to an existing image out-coupling system, e.g., the beam splitter of a microscope. The adapter can also be used for stereo microscopes. The camera adapter is arranged between the image out-coupling element and the camera. Its housing has two connection pieces. The microscope-side connection piece has a quick-change device and the camera-side connection piece has a filter thread. The technical solution provides a camera adapter for connecting digital cameras to a microscope. By using intermediate rings, the camera adapter is suitable for different cameras and facilitates exchange of cameras. The camera can be positioned in such a way that the observer can view the object through the eyepiece as well as on the camera monitor without substantially changing his/her sitting position.

The invention is directed to an illumination device for microscopes which is provided with a halogen lamp with a reflector and a filament extending in direction of the optical axis and a scatter disk and which enables a homogeneous illumination of the visual field without additional optical components.
