A drug delivery device for conducting a medical therapy includes a housing with an exit port opening, and an exit port assembly, where said exit port assembly includes a rigid exit port sealing holder and a soft exit port sealing, and provides both a fluid-tight closure of the exit port opening and a fluid-tight connection between the housing and the rigid exit port sealing holder.

Wearable drug delivery device

A module for a drug delivery device includes a first housing portion with a bearing element for supporting a neck or head portion of a first end of a reservoir and a second housing portion with an elastic contact element for supporting a second end of the reservoir opposite the first end. The first and second housing portions are configured to couple to each other in an assembled state in which the first and second housing portions form a cavity for accommodating the reservoir. The bearing element and the elastic contact element may each define a limiter or limiting structure of the cavity in a longitudinal direction of the cavity to secure or hold the reservoir free of play within the cavity. The elastic contact element may be is injection molded onto a surface of a body of the second housing portion.

Fixation of reservoir of drug delivery device

A fill port for filling a liquid medicament into a reservoir located inside a drug delivery device includes insert fixed in a passage of a wall of the drug delivery device, and a pierceable fill port sealing is sandwiched between the insert and both the housing of the drug delivery device and the reservoir to provide a fluid-tight sealing between the reservoir and the housing.

An infusion apparatus for delivering medication includes a housing, a drive mechanism, a force sensor, and a transfer element. The drive mechanism comprises first and second conveying elements, the second conveying element for advancing a plug in a reservoir in the distal direction, the first conveying element with limited axial movement relative to the housing but rotatable to cause an ejecting or resetting movement of the second conveying element. The force sensor is arranged along a central axis between the housing and the proximal end of the drive mechanism. The transfer element is axially arranged between the force sensor and the first conveying element and the force sensor bears axial forces exerted by the ejection movement. The second conveying element moves the transfer element away from the first conveying element against the bias of a restoring force such that the force sensor bears axial forces exerted by the resetting movement.

Device for administering a fluid product

A modular, semi-disposable patch pump for conducting a medical therapy includes a pump unit releasably connected to a reservoir unit by means of a bayonet connection; and a housing design for supporting both reliability and ease of use of said connection.

An apparatus for administering a fluid product, including a housing, a product member for accomodating the fluid product and/or a reservoir for the fluid product, which product member can be moved relative to the housing from a start position to an inserted position along a longitudinal axis of the housing, a drive member in the housing and movable relative to the product member for emptying the fluid product from the product member and/or the reservoir, wherein the drive member has at least one holding element which holds the drive member in the start position of the product member and wherein, by the movement of the product member, the holding element is moved from the holding position to a released position in which the drive member is movable relative to the housing.

An apparatus for administering a fluid product, including a housing, a product member for accommodating the fluid product and/or a reservoir for the fluid product, which product member can be moved relative to the housing from a start position to an inserted position along a longitudinal axis of the housing, a drive member in the housing and movable relative to the product member for emptying the fluid product from the product member and/or the reservoir, wherein the drive member has at least one holding element which holds the drive member in the start position of the product member and wherein, by the movement of the product member, the holding element is moved from the holding position to a released position in which the drive member is movable relative to the housing.
