A suspension arrangement for terminals for electrical resistive elements, which terminals pass vertically through a body and are attached relative to the upper surface of the body, which terminals pass over into the hot zone of the resistive element in the form of a shank element, which extends downwards from the terminals, where one or several of the shanks of the hot zone is or are supported by hooks attached to the lower surface of the body. The suspension arrangement for each one of the terminals includes a first attachment attached relative to the upper surface of the body and a second attachment attached relative to the terminal. A spring arrangement passes between the first and the second attachment, which spring arrangement is arranged such that the second attachment is mobile in the vertical direction relative to the first attachment.

Fastening means for terminals for electrical resistance elements

A terminal for electrical resistive elements of molybdenum silicide or alloys of this material, which terminal is arranged to pass through a furnace wall or a furnace ceiling or corresponding insulated wall, where the terminal located at each end of the hot zone of the element has a diameter that is larger than the diameter of the element in the hot zone. The invention is characterised in that a terminal connector is connected to each terminal, in that the terminal connector is made from aluminium, in that the terminal connector has a length that fully or partially constitutes the length of the combined terminal length, where the combined terminal length is the length of the relevant terminal of the element and the terminal connector.

Terminal for electrical resistance element

An electrical resistance heating element having a glow zone and two power supply terminals. The glow zone of the element is tubular. A tubular union is provided between each of the power supply terminals and a respective end of the glow zone, wherein the inner diameter of the union is smaller than the inner diameter of the glow zone. A transition region extends between each union and a respective glow zone end and has a progressively decreasing wall thickness in the direction from the union toward the glow zone.

Electrical heating resistance element

The present invention is for a method for heating of blanks and other heating of metallic materials in a furnace before working where heat is transferred to a blank in the furnace by radiation. According to the method of the invention an important part of the radiation hits the walls of the furnace and are reflected there before it is transferred to the blank. Preferably the furnace is designed so that head radiation is reflected also at the bottom of the furnace. At least 50% of the radiation which reaches the blank ought to be reflected radiation. The invention is also for a furnace for heating of blanks and other comprising at least one furnace bottom part ( ) and at least one furnace top part ( ) having side walls ( ) where at least parts of the side walls of the top parts are inclined so that opposite walls are inclined towards each other.

Heating element

An infrared radiation lamp that includes an electrically heated filament and a reflector. The filament is a high temperature element that is wound to a helical configuration. The helical filament is free-standing at operating temperatures, and it is positioned in an open reflector made from a ceramic material.
