A fire detection and suppression system includes a fire suppression system configured to suppress a fire, an ambient temperature sensor, one or more temperature sensors, and a controller. The ambient temperature sensor measures an ambient temperature. The one or more temperature sensors are configured to measure a hazard temperature. The controller is configured to receive ambient temperature readings from the ambient temperature sensor and hazard temperature readings from the one or more temperature sensors over a learning time period. The controller is configured to determine one or more characteristic values based on the received ambient temperature readings and the hazard temperature readings over the learning time period. The controller is configured to use the one or more characteristic values to detect a fire condition. The controller is configured to activate the fire suppression system in response to detecting the fire condition.

A dishwasher has a tub defining a wash chamber with an open face, a pivoting door having an open position and a closed position, a slide system having a first rail including a transition element, a second rail slidably interconnected with the first rail for relative sliding, and a dish rack rotatably connected to the slide system by a pivot system. The pivot system is attached to the transition element to cooperatively pivot with the door as the door is moving from the open position to the closed position.

A refrigerant leak management system includes a return inlet assembly and a purge exhaust outlet assembly. The system also includes a sensor configured to detect refrigerant proximate an air handling enclosure of a HVAC unit. The system further includes a controller configured to control the system to drive air from a conditioned interior space of a building into an external environment via the purge exhaust outlet assembly when the sensor detects the refrigerant proximate the air handling enclosure by: actuating the return inlet assembly to close the return inlet assembly, actuating the purge exhaust outlet assembly to open the purge exhaust outlet assembly, and activating a reversible supply fan of the HVAC unit in a reverse direction.

Systems and methods for refrigerant leak management

A dishwasher includes a slide system for sliding movement of a dish rack in and out of a wash chamber, and a pivot system to enable cooperative pivoting of the dish rack and an access door when the dish rack at least partially overlies the door and the door is pivoted from an opened to a closed position.

A quick connect retainer having a pair of angularly disposed latch fingers extending radially inward from arcuate collars connecting a pair of legs extending axially from an annular base has a recess formed on a radially inner surface. The recess provides a substantially constant cross-sectional thickness to each latch finger between opposed ends of each latch finger. The recess forms a back-draft outer edge for mating with complimentary projections on a mold part to retain the latch fingers in position during separation of the mold halves during molding of the retainer.

A quick connector includes a housing assembly and a retainer for sealingly interconnecting first and second conduits in fluid flow communication. The housing assembly is formed of first and second housings which are rotatably and non-axially displaceably interconnected. The retainer is mountable in the second housing for locking a raised annular flange on one conduit within the housing assembly in fluid flow communication with the bore extending through the housing assembly. A plurality of latch fingers extend from one housing and rotatingly, but non-axially displaceable, engage a raised flanges on the other housing.
