A high pressure nozzle adapted to clean a tube includes an elongated body having a proximal end and a distal end, and defines one or more elongated channels along an exterior, extending from the distal end to the proximal end, and includes a head rotatably mounted to the body adjacent the distal end. The head includes jets that expel liquid at a pressure of at least 1000 psi to clean material from a wall of a tube and/or rotate the head relative to the body about a longitudinal axis. The channels are operable in an evacuation mode in which a portion of liquid is conveyed through the channels away from the head toward the proximal end to prevent and/or impair hydraulicing of the nozzle in the tube when the nozzle encounters a blockage within the tube. Related methods of use of the nozzle also are provided.

A high pressure fluid system including enhanced safety, maintenance and servicing features. The system can include a CAM assembly module, having a valve seat assembly, seal cartridge assembly and inlet manifold, that is easily installed in and removed from a frame and/discharge manifold as a single unit. A discharge manifold can isolate different pressure rated passageways of the system, and multiple rupture discs associated with the same. A discharge manifold end plate can be included to provide ease of repair of discharge outlets and to establish a plumbing system for the rupture discs. A quick coupler can facilitate connection between a plunger of the seal cartridge assembly and a cross head stub connected to a power frame. A lubrication valve assembly can provide and meter lubrication from a high pressure inlet source to a plunger and packing of the seal cartridge assembly.

The system can include a quick coupler that facilitates rapid, safe connection between a plunger of a seal cartridge assembly and a cross head stub connected to a power frame. The quick coupler can include a plunger defining a recess, a retention ring disposable within the recess, and a retention nut that fits over the retention ring and part of the plunger, securing the plunger to the cross head stub.

A valve seat for use in a high pressure pump comprises an inner portion force fit within an outer portion. The outer portion has a fluid plenum at an outer peripheral surface. Fluid passages extend radially inwardly to communicate with a valve recess in the inner portion. A seal housing for a high pressure pump comprises an outer portion and an inner portion. The inner portion is force fit within the outer portion. The inner portion has an inner bore having a first location to receive seal packings, and a second location to receive valve spring structure. The inner portion has a curved surface that bottoms out against a curved surface within the outer portion.

A high pressure fluid jetting system generally includes a fluid cylinder pump, a drive assembly, a pressurized liquid supply and an applicator gun. The drive assembly includes a diesel or electric powered motor which drives a rotatable drive shaft. The drive shaft drives a triple plunger which are reciprocally driven. The plungers communicate fluid from the supply to the gun to selectively jet water from the gun at a pressure of approximately 50,000 psi and 10.0 gallons per minute.

A high pressure fluid jetting system generally includes a fluid cylinder pump, a drive assembly, a pressurized liquid supply and an applicator gun. The drive assembly includes a diesel engine or electric powered motor which drives a rotatable drive shaft. The drive shaft drives a triple plunger which are reciprocally driven. A valve seat assembly and a cylindrical cartridge seal assembly define a cartridge which contains a reciprocating plunger shaft. The primary high wear parts are located therein. The cartridge is retained within the manifold cartridge opening yet is readily accessible by removal of the manifold. The pump output is primarily determined by the diameter of the plunger the length of the stroke, the number of cylinders, and the speed of the pump. A specific cartridge allows replacement of all the components which interface with a plunger shaft of a predetermined diameter such that a change in pump output or repair is readily achieved by straightforward cartridge replacement.
