An approach provides sending captured Superbill image data and output data generated based on results of parsing the captured Superbill image data to an external system which manages Superbill data via a cloud system and a storage service. The cloud system creates parsing rule data for parsing a captured Superbill image in accordance with user operation at a client device. The cloud system obtains captured Superbill image data from the storage service, in response to receiving a notification indicating that the captured Superbill image data has been stored in the storage service. The cloud system parses the obtained image data based on the created parsing rule and generates output data based on results of parsing. The cloud system sends the generated output data and the obtained image data to the external system via the one or more computer networks.

Approach for cloud EMR communication via a content parsing engine and a storage service

Approach for cloud EMR communication via a content parsing engine

An approach for electronic information collaboration allows the use of a mobile device to cause electronic information to be displayed on one or more projector display devices via a virtual projector. The use of a virtual projector allows electronic information to be displayed on multiple projector display devices and/or client devices. The approach may also include the use of collaboration clients and a collaboration server to provide additional functionality with respect to the electronic information including, for example, the ability for changes made to electronic information at one location to be propagated to another location. The approach also allows a mobile device to be used to establish a videoconferencing session between two or more videoconferencing sites. The approach may include generation and use of a locations map that displays icons that correspond to videoconferencing sites and that may be selected to establish a connection between videoconferencing sites.

Electronic information collaboration system

A reference image of one or more objects is displayed on the display of a mobile device in a manner that allows a user of the mobile device to simultaneously view the reference image and a preview image of the one or more objects currently in a field of view of a camera of the mobile device. An indication is provided to the user of the mobile device whether the camera of the mobile device is currently located within a specified amount of a distance at which the reference image was acquired. In response to a user request, the camera acquires a second image of the one or more objects and optionally a distance between the camera and the one or more objects at the time the second image was acquired is recorded. An image management application provides various functionalities for accessing and managing image sequences.

Image acquisition and management using a reference image

Transmission monitoring can be used to determine the optimum data rate for a channel. The transmission monitoring can include sending data packets in the channel using various data rates. At least some data packets are sent using the current optimum data rate, a rate lower than the current optimum data rate, and a rate higher than the current optimum data rate. One of these data rates can be selected as the new optimum data rate. In one embodiment, if the current optimum data rate is less than a predetermined data rate, then the client is triggered to begin scanning for other available access points.

Wireless LAN using transmission monitoring

Techniques and systems for automatically configuring devices to interact with 'legacy' wireless access points ('WAPs') are disclosed. According to one technique, a user programs a WPS-enabled WAP with the configuration information of a &#x201c;legacy&#x201d; WAP. This makes the WPS-enabled WAP &#x201c;aware&#x201d; of the &#x201c;legacy&#x201d; WAP. When any other user brings his device within discovery range of the WPS-enabled WAP, the WPS-enabled WAP sends, to that device, a list of the WAPs of which the WPS-enabled WAP is aware. The device's user selects one of the WAPs (e.g., a &#x201c;legacy&#x201d; WAP) from the list. The WPS-enabled WAP receives the user's selection and sends, to the device, the configuration information for the selected WAP. The user's device configures itself, using the configuration information, to interact with the selected WAP. Thereafter, the user's device can access a network through the selected WAP, even if the selected WAP is a &#x201c;legacy&#x201d; WAP.

Legacy support for Wi-Fi protected setup

According to an approach for configuring Wi-Fi devices, a wireless access point changes its mode of operation from a normal operating mode to a configuration operating mode to configure one or more Wi-Fi devices. When operating in the configuration operating mode, it is more difficult for an eavesdropper to intercept messages between the wireless access point and the Wi-Fi devices being configured. Upon completion of the configuration process, the wireless access point changes its mode of operation from the configuration operating mode back to the normal operating mode. This approach reduces the likelihood of an eavesdropper intercepting configuration messages exchanged between a wireless access point and one or more Wi-Fi devices during the configuration process. The approach also allows automated configuration of Wi-Fi devices and reduces the amount of user interaction required to configure Wi-Fi devices.
