Aspects are provided for a case for a pump assembly having a base and an enclosure assembly. The enclosure assembly includes a case cover coupled to the enclosure assembly via a gasket, wherein the case cover and the enclosure assembly form a gap between the case cover and the enclosure assembly in a portion of the case cover without the gasket, a display, a plurality of bosses, a frame plate removable fastened to the plurality of bosses, wherein the display is fixedly attached to the case cover when the frame plate is fastened to the plurality of bosses, and one or more drainage channels disposed at an underside surface of the case cover, the one or more drainage channels being configured to divert fluid away from the display.

A peristaltic pump may include a rotor rotatably mounted between a base of the peristaltic pump head and an end cap of the peristaltic pump head. The peristaltic pump may include an arcuate case between the base and the end cap partially surrounding the rotor. The peristaltic pump may include an arcuate occlusion bed removably mounted between the base and the end cap. The arcuate case and the arcuate occlusion bed form a cylindrical body around the rotor. The peristaltic pump may include a locking handle hingedly mounted to the arcuate occlusion bed, wherein the locking handle includes a bar extending between a pair of cam members, each cam member including a cam slot that engages a respective pin extending from the base and the end cap.

An apparatus, method, and system for retaining tubing used in a peristaltic pump. The apparatus includes tubing retention device usable with a peristaltic pump, the tubing retention device including a movable tubing retainer having a tubing engaging portion capable of engaging with a first surface of a tube and a track portion for movably supporting the tubing retainer. At least one of the movable tubing retainer or the track portion has a surface formed of or at least partially coated with a friction reducing coating. The apparatus further comprises a second tubing engaging portion capable of engaging with a second surface of the tube and a biasing member biasing the movable tubing retainer towards the second tubing engagement portion. Engagement of the tubing retainer and the second tubing engaging portion reduces longitudinal movement of the tube.

Tubing retention mechanism usable with a peristaltic pump

A peristaltic pump may include a rotor rotatably mounted on a base and an occlusion bed mounted on the base and moveable toward and away from the rotor. The peristaltic pump may also include a lid hingedly mounted to the base along a first hinge axis including a mounting bracket extending perpendicularly relative to the first hinge axis. A linkage assembly connecting the occlusion bed and the lid may include a pair of curved arms hingedly mounted to the mounting bracket along a second hinge axis parallel to the first hinge axis and a cam connecting the pair of curved arms and having a cam surface facing the mounting bracket, the cam being hingedly mounted to the occlusion bed at an end opposite the second hinge axis. The mounting bracket abuts the cam surface and form a cooperative connection between the lid and the occlusion bed via the linkage assembly.
