A luminaire with a removable rail is disclosed. The luminaire can be powered with power provided by a power over Ethernet (PoE) solution. The rail can include a sensor that can provide feedback to the luminaire. The sensor can detect ambient information. A controller can modify output of the luminaire based on sensed information.

In an embodiment, a luminaire includes a housing with a reflector. A rail is positioned near the reflector and has a light thereon which is configured to emit light into the reflector. The light is reflected from the reflector and passes through a diffuser that can act to ensure the emitted light is desirably defuse. In an embodiment, the diffuser can be removed from the housing for service or replacement.

A wedge base track lamp holder assembly includes a base, at least one conductive contact member, and a retention piece. The base includes a first channel with an opening at one end of the base, a second channel extending away from the first channel and having an opening at an end opposite the first channel, and an adaptor portion extending from the base and enclosing part of the second channel. The conductive contact members are insertable within the first channel and the second channel. The retention piece in insertable within the second channel and configured to retain the conductive contact members within the first channel and the second channel.

A track lighting fixture includes a first housing half and a second housing half. The first housing half includes a surface, an inner perimeter, a recess in the surface, and mating ramps extending from the inner perimeter. The second housing half includes a surface, a protrusion extending from the surface, and mating arms extending from the surface.

An interface for connecting a light fixture to a track light network includes a base, a housing, and a spring. The base has a first end and a second end. The first end includes electrical contacts and mounting tabs for mounting the interface to the track light network. The housing encloses part of the base that is slidable along the base, and has a first end and a second end. The first end includes tabs to orient the interface relative to the track light network when the interface is mounted to the track light network. The spring is mounted to the base and resists sliding of the housing relative to the base.

A light fixture includes a housing, a lens, a lens frame, and at least one mounting spring. The mounting spring is mountable to the lens frame and includes a first member configured to retain the lens in the lens frame and a second member configured to attach the lens frame to the housing.
