An electrical connector that has a conductive shell supporting at least one signal contact therein and that has a front end for mating with a mating connector and a back end opposite the front end for electrically connecting to a coaxial cable. A ground connection is located inside of the conductive shell. A coupling member is rotatably coupled to the conductive shell and has an engagement feature for mechanically engaging a support panel associated with the mating connector. A sealing member is disposed on the conductive shell that is configured to provide an environmental seal between the conductive shell and the support panel when the conductive shell is mated with the mating connector.

High frequency electrical connector

A connector that has a conductive shell that supports at least one signal contact therein. The shell comprises a front end for mating with a mating connector and a back end opposite the front end for connecting to a power or data transmission cable. A coupling member is configured to engage the conductive shell and engage a corresponding component associated with the mating connector to mechanically couple the connector and the mating connector together. A plurality of ground connections are provided at the front end of the conductive shell and the front section of the coupling member for grounding.

Coupling mechanism and connector with the same

An electrical receptacle that has a conductive body and a dielectric assembly received in the conductive body. The dielectric assembly has an entry dielectric portion, a distal support dielectric portion opposite the entry dielectric portion, and a reduced-diameter dielectric portion therebetween. An air region is defined between the inner surface of the conductive body and the reduced-diameter dielectric portion. An outer conductor is coupled to the conductive body and receives at least part of the entry dielectric portion. An inner contact is received in the dielectric assembly and has a mating interface end for receiving a corresponding mating contact, a termination end for coupling to a printed circuit board or adapter contact, and an inner through bore therebetween.

Electrical receptacle for coaxial cable

An electrical connector for mounting to a printed circuit board that has a connector housing with a printed circuit board interface and a port supporting a central signal contact, and a metal component at the printed circuit board interface that has a hole corresponding the port. An outer contact is disposed in the port and surrounding the signal contact. The outer contact includes a conductive body that has a first end forming a ring and outwardly flared tines extending from the ring. Each tine has a flexible arm with a lip portion at a distal end thereof. The lip portion has an outer lead-in surface that tapers outwardly from the second end of the conductive body toward the first end. The lip portion has an outer shielding contact surface each adapted to contact the inner diameter surface of the hole of the metal component.

High signal isolation electrical connector

An apparatus and method for concealing a loudspeaker, in which frame modules simulating books are juxtaposed for forming a housing for the speaker. The housing appears as a row or stack of books, and the quantity of frame modules or simulated books may be adjusted for accommodating speakers of different widths or heights.

Loudspeaker concealment system

A telephone switch depressor that includes a planar wedge panel that includes a tapered, planar wedge end that is adapted to be received between a telephone flash switch and the opening through which the switch extends. The depressor serves to hold the flash button in its depressed condition, to disconnect the telephone line from a handset, and to avoid the need to physically replace the handset on the base or rest in order to actuate a switch hook to cause disconnection of the handset from the telephone line. The wedge panel can be formed from a flexible, yet sufficiently rigid plastic material, and it can be adapted to carry printed information.
