A curable composition including (a) at least one organosiloxane compound, fluorinated organosiloxane compound, or combination thereof having reactive silane functionality including at least two hydroxysilyl moieties; (b) at least one organosiloxane oligomer, fluorinated organosiloxane oligomer, or combination thereof having reactive silane functionality including at least two hydrosilyl moieties; and (c) a catalyst composition including (1) at least one base selected from amidines, guanidines, phosphazenes, proazaphosphatranes, and combinations thereof, and (2) at least one Lewis acid. At least one of the components (a) and (b) has an average reactive silane functionality of at least three, and the composition is substantially free of organic solvent(s). An alkoxysilane compound may be optionally included in the curable composition. A process for coating the composition to prepare articles having the cross-linked composition on at least a portion of at least one major substrate surface is also disclosed.

Curable organosiloxane oligomer compositions

A solar panel mount system includes a ballasted block support resting on a ground surface, a post pivoted to the block support at a lower pivot, and a solar panel frame pivoted to the post at an upper pivot with a center of gravity over the ballasted block support and facing a desired sunlight-receiving direction. The upper pivot is selected to be at a desired adjusted height. The frame includes a yoke supported at the upper pivot and support beams supporting a solar panel. A method of installation includes placing the ballasted block support on the ground, and attaching the remaining components at desired angles to locate a center of gravity of the solar panel frame over the ballasted block support, and fixing an angle of the solar panel frame at a desired sun-facing position. A related method includes interconnecting solar panel frames on posts in a generally straight row.

Distributed energy storage and power quality control in photovoltaic arrays

A solar panel system comprises a monocoque forming an enlarged solar-facing generally-convex outer support surface when in an installed position and that supports solar cells at optimal angles for capturing solar energy. The monocoque provides a stressed-skin support reducing weight while maintaining strength, optimal support surface, and minimizing cost. A post engages and supports adjacent edges of a pair of adjacent monocoques. An electrical circuit connects the solar cells for electrical flow and power management, and preferably includes a controller for controlling power from the solar cells, including combining them in series or parallel as optimal for a given systems configuration. The illustrated monocoque includes a roll formed sheet or a number of sheets, stacked vertically together and anchored to spaced posts using connectors in a 'fence-like' pattern.

A method for the manufacture of an adhesive id described, comprising: (A) Providing an initial reaction product of a solution polymerization reaction, the initial reaction product comprising polymer, unreacted polymerizable reactant, non-polymerizable material, and solvent; and (B) Purifying the initial reaction product by adding an oxidizing agent and a reducing agent to the initial reaction product and allowing the unreacted polymerizable reactant in the initial reaction product to further react, thereby providing a second reaction product comprising additional polymer and a lower level of unreacted polymerizable reactant than was present in the initial reaction product. Optionally, the method of the invention may further comprise: Precipitating the polymer from the second reaction product to provide a precipitated polymer, and separating the precipitated polymer from the remainder of the second reaction product, the precipitated polymer comprising a lower level of non-polymerizable material or unreacted polymerizable reactant or both non-polymerizable material and unreacted polymerizable reactant than was present in the second reaction product.
