Disclosed herein are heterocyclic compounds that inhibit the binding of menin and MLL or MLL fusion proteins for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. Also described are specific covalent inhibitors of menin-MLL interaction. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions that include the described compounds.
