An activity management system is configured to allow users to access multimedia content where the multimedia content is divided in to segments. While a user is viewing or interacting with the multimedia content, the user can submit one or more activities (e.g., comments, questions, replies, or reactions) using a graphical user interface. The system is operable to electronically link the activity provided by the user with the particular segment of multimedia content in which the activity was captured by the system. The system is also configured to determine a sentiment score for particular multimedia content, one or more segments of the particular multimedia content, a user, a group of users, or an organization. The sentiment score may be related to a general mood (e.g., confused, happy, bored) of the user when viewing one or more segments of particular multimedia content.

An adjustable transition duct support system for a transition duct that channels hot gases from a combustor exit to a gas turbine inlet of a turbine engine. The adjustable transition duct support system includes an adjustable forward transition flexible support assembly in contact with a transition duct body, whereby the forward transition flexible support assembly may be formed from a base extending toward the transition duct body and first and second side support arms extending from the base to the transition duct body. The first and second side support arms may be formed from a plurality of flex plates spaced from each other with spacers that provide rigidity in circumferential and radial directions and flexibility in an axial direction. The number of flex plates used may be varied to accommodate different turbine engines. The adjustable transition duct support system may have natural frequencies for circumferential and radial modes above two engine orders.

Transition support system for combustion transition ducts for turbine engines

A gas-turbine burner having a plurality of main swirl generators which each have an inlet flow opening formed by the main swirl generator edge is provided. In order to achieve a uniform flow of combustion air through the main swirl generator, the gas-turbine burner has an inlet-flow guide means with a flow guide surface which runs from one of the inlet-flow openings to an adjacent inlet-flow opening, to which the main swirl generator edges which form the inlet-flow openings are connected, and the flow guide surface widens from there radially upwards. The main swirl generators are central-symmetrically arranged around a pilot burner and the flow guide surface runs radially outside the main swirl generators.

Gas-turbine burner having inflow guide means

A flange connection for an exhaust section of a gas turbine engine. The flange connection includes a stub flange attached to an exhaust manifold. The stub flange has a first axial face for engagement with the axial face of a cylinder flange extending radially from an exhaust cylinder. A plate structure attached to the cylinder flange is configured to provide axial retention of the stub flange to the axial face of the cylinder flange. The plate structure includes a resilient beam portion extending radially inwardly and engaging a second axial face of the stub flange. The stub flange is retained between the cylinder flange and the beam portion of the plate structure in an interference fit to provide three degrees of freedom of the stub flange relative to the exhaust cylinder.

A gas-turbine burner having a plurality of main swirl generators, each having an inlet flow opening formed by the main swirl generator edge, is provided. A gas turbine case is provided including an outer case surface, and a channel portion formed as a recessed area extending radially inwardly into the outer case surface. The channel portion extends about a circumference of the case. An outer flow jacket is attached to the outer case surface and extends over the channel portion to define an enclosed cooling passage along the outer case surface. At least one inlet passage and at least one outlet passage are provided in fluid communication with the enclosed cooling passage to convey air to and from the cooling passage.

A foam generation device and method of producing foam wherein an electrical charge is placed upon a foam producing solution or admixture thereof with air. The above admixture is then forced by air pressure through a grounded foam-producing mesh such that foam bubbles are produced at high efficiency. In addition, the turbulence of the air passing through the device may be reduced by a honeycomb section. This honeycomb section in turn may be grounded and the air flow through the device reversed such that already produced foam may be drawn into the device, charged by the grid, and thereafter dissipated upon the honeycomb section.
