Implementations of wax ester compositions may include: a product of transesterifying oleyl oleate, stearyl stearate, and behenyl behenate using one of a chemical or an enzyme catalyst. The ratio of the oleyl oleate to stearyl stearate to behenyl behenate in the mixture prior to transesterification is one of 65%/23%/12%, 56%/29%/15%, or 36%/34%/30%, respectively, measured by weight. The product may demonstrate a substantially equivalent physical property to a physical property of a transesterified wax ester composition including a jojoba ester.

Embodiments described herein provide a system and methods for the production of hydrocarbons. The method includes flowing a stream directly from a hydrocarbon reservoir to a cavern and performing a phase separation of the stream within the cavern to form an aqueous phase and an organic phase. The invention provides a sanitizing composition in the form of a viscous liquid or gel suitable for use as a handwash composition comprising alcohol, water and a thickener wherein the viscous liquid or gel has particles suspended therein, wherein said particles provide the composition with a granular texture and are capable of being worn away when rubbed. A tool for dislodging lubrication-blocking debris from machinery elements. A housing includes a forward internal chamber. An adapter receives an explosive charge element and completes the chamber. The adapter includes an exteriorly-threaded portion for affixation of the tool to a lubrication access hole. A firing mechanism is positioned and spring loaded at a rear chamber of the housing. In use, the tool is inserted in place of a grease nipple and the explosive charge element detonated, for example, by striking the exposed end of the firing mechanism with as a hammer. A pulse of pressurized gases is thereby generated to clear the blocked lubrication passage.
