A method for identifying a parent company in a corporate hierarchy is provided. A neural network embeds a number of company names into respective numeric vectors and then indexes the vectors into an approximate nearest neighbors (ANN) index according to euclidean distances between them. In response to a query regarding a parent company of a specified query company, a top N number of nearest neighbor companies to the query company is extracted from the ANN index. A machine learning voting model determines which, if any, of the extracted nearest neighbor companies has a parent company that best corresponds to the query company. If an extracted nearest neighbor company has a parent company that best corresponds to the query company, the parent company is displayed to a user through a user interface.

Corporate hierarchy tagging

A method for point-in-time visualization system management is provided. The method includes receiving organizational structure queries from user interfaces, creating organizational hierarchy database queries from the organizational structure query, and converting the results of those queries into entity change parameters lists and organizational tree structures for display on the user interface. The displayed organizational tree structure and entity change parameters can be filtered via controls available on the user interface.

Point in time representation for organizational hierarchy

A method, apparatus, system, and computer program code for forecasting a data anomaly to a supply chain. A plurality of data records is identified for a plurality of entities. The data records include import records and export records. The data fields in the data records are categorized into generic field types. The generic field types include numeric fields, categorical fields, and date fields. For each of the plurality of entities, an entity-specific model is constructed for forecasting imports and exports based on the generic field types. The entity-specific model for each of the plurality of entities is combined into a global supply chain model. Based on the global supply chain model, a data anomaly is forecast to a supply chain that is associated with a particular entity.

Data anomaly forecasting from data record meta-statistics

A method for data visualization is provided. The method comprises receiving an input comprising a number of search parameters and then creating a cache node for the number of search parameters in the database, wherein the cache node comprises a first reference associated with the number of search parameters. Then identifying a number of search results related to the number of search parameters and storing the number of search results related to the number of search parameters in the cache node. Further, identifying a number of visualization options related to the number of search results stored in the cache node, wherein each visualization option comprises a second reference associated with the cache node.

Data visualization method

A method for visualizing corporate hierarchies is provided. The method comprises receiving a selection of a first company stored in a database and retrieving, from the database, an ultimate parent company of the first company. All other known companies with the same ultimate parent company as the first company are then retrieved from the database. An interactive hierarchical tree diagram is displayed in an interface, wherein the first company, the ultimate parent company, and the other known companies with the same ultimate parent company are displayed as nodes according to parent/child relationships among the companies. Also displayed in the interface, adjacent to the tree diagram, is a collapsible nested tree list comprising the first company, the ultimate parent company, and the other known companies with the same ultimate parent company. The tree diagram and nested tree list have synchronized responses to user input.

Weighted supply chain corporate hierarchy interface

A signal relationship is defined between a granular data value and a target data value. At least a portion of the granular data value corresponds to a granular latency value that is smaller than a target data latency value corresponding to the target data value. Granular data corresponding to the granular data value is interpreted. The granular data is aggregated in response to the signal relationship. A value of the target data value for a selected time reference is estimated, and the estimated value of the target data value is provided as a nowcasting prediction of the target data value.

Nowcasting abstracted census from individual customs transaction records

An apparatus includes a data access circuit that interprets data records, each having a number of data fields, a record parsing circuit that determines a number of n-grams from terms of each of the data records and maps the number of n-grams to a corresponding number of mathematical vectors, and a record association circuit that determines whether a similarity value between a first mathematical vector for the first data record and a second mathematical vector for the second data record is greater than a threshold similarity value, and associates the first and second data records in response to the similarity value exceeding the threshold similarity value. An example apparatus includes a reporting circuit that provides a catalog entity identifier, associates each of the first term and the second term to the catalog entity identifier, and provides a summary of activity for an entity.

Natural language processing for entity resolution

The technology features a system and computer-implemented method for resolving a relationship between objects. A target object index is generated based on a group of target objects. One or more lookup operations is performed on each target object in the target object index for each source object in a group of source objects. A plurality of source target object pairs is generated, each source target object pair comprising one source object and one target object having at least one matching data value. Each source target object pair is converted into a numeric feature vector. The numeric feature vector is classified corresponding to each source target object pair using a binary classifier. A match score to each source target object pair is applied based on the classification using the binary classifier. Any source target object pair having a match score lower than a match threshold value is discarded.
