A treatment fluid for performing one or more pre-cementing operations in a wellbore can include a base fluid, a viscosifier, and a crushed glass material. The viscosifier can be dispersed in the base fluid. The crushed glass material can be dispersed in the base fluid for performing one or more cementing operations with respect to the wellbore.

A suspending agent composition comprising (i) a fast hydrating guar gum and (ii) a high molecular weight polysaccharide, wherein the suspending agent composition has a rheological coupling ratio for yield point ranging from about 1 to about 2 when placed in an aqueous solution at a concentration of equal to or less than about 0.5 grams/deciliter and a ratio of about 90 weight percent (wt. %) fast hydrating guar gum and 10 wt. % high molecular weight polysaccharide. Methods for cementing. An example method provides a cement composition comprising an aqueous fluid, a cement, and a cement retarder; wherein the cement retarder is a waste residue from a manufacturing process of a sweetener and comprises a sugar concentration of at least 40%, a Brix value of at least 60, a nitrogen-free extract concentration of at least 50%, a total solids concentration of at least 60%, a crude protein concentration less than 10%, a fat concentration less than 5%, a fiber concentration less than 5%, and an ash concentration less than 10%. The method also introduces the cement composition into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation and pumps the cement composition to a location within the wellbore, and allows the cement composition to set in the location.

Biologically derived cement retarder

Methods, systems, and compositions for wellbore cementing are provided. A method may comprise: analyzing an industrial byproduct and one or more additional components to generate data about physical and/or chemical properties of the industrial byproduct; determining a concentration of the byproduct and the one or more additional components based on the data to provide a settable composition having a twenty-four destructive compressive strength at 100° F. to 200° F. of about 50 psi or greater.

The agglomerated zeolite catalyst may be a spent agglomerated zeolite catalyst and may include a matrix, a filler, a binder, and zeolite crystals. The zeolite crystals may be selected from the group consisting of type x, type y, ultra-stable type y, ZSM-5, SAPO-11, silicalite-1, mordenite, ferrierite, beta, and combinations thereof.
