A computer includes a plurality of activity modules in multiple virtual machines. An activity module performs an activity, such as malware detection, in a virtual machine. A monitoring module receives virtualized infrastructure information of the computer comprising a hardware configuration of the computer and a virtual machine configuration of the computer. A scheduling module determines, based on the virtualized infrastructure information, scheduling instructions for an activity module. A supervisor communication module causes the activity module to execute based on the scheduling instructions. The scheduling instructions minimize hardware resource conflicts between the activity module and the other activity modules of the computer.

Coordinated virtualization activities

The present invention provides a positive electrode for a rechargeable cell including a two-dimensional electrically conductive substrate supporting a coating comprising nickel hydroxide and a binder, preferably a styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene triblock copolymer binder. The coating is formed by applying a paste to the two-dimensional substrate surface. The present invention also includes the cell made therefrom. The present invention further provides a method of producing this electrode including the steps of forming the paste and coating the paste onto the two-dimensional substrate. The capacity, midpoint voltage and power delivery of the coated electrode are comparable to or exceed those of traditional sintered and foam positive electrodes.

Pasted positive electrode and process for its production

A process for coating tin oxide with platinum which comprises soaking a tin oxide substrate in a strong caustic solution to activate the substrate, washing the substrate to remove all caustic solution, immersing the washed substrate in an alkaline solution containing Pt(OH).sub.6.sup..dbd. ions applying an electric potential of +0.1 to +0.7 volt to the immersed substrate, and recovering the substrate having a coating of platinum. This process is useful in preparing active platinum-coated catalysts using very small amounts of platinum.
